“Mukesh the pharmacist was very helpful!!! Went to a different Walgreens pharmacy and they didn’t even bother trying to find the reason why my health insurance was going through. He took his time and was able to get my insurance in. Even made sure I understood when to get my next vaccination dose!”

“I have one name for you all Donna, Donna, Donna. She works in the pharmacy and she is the kindest, loveliest, and most helpful person I have dealt with in a long time in a pharmacy. We all know it’s a tough time for pharmacies and pharmacists because they just don’t have enough coverage and support, and I speak as someone who wants worked in one and whose father worked for Walgreens forever. This is a lovely store and everyone is helpful, but Donna stands out! Sometimes it’s one person that makes a difference for another and today she did that for me and its not the first time!”

“If you need to get a prescription filled, I’d go to Walgreens on Miner Street in Des Plaines. Ask for Joanne, who’s the Certified Licensed Pharmacy Technician. She’s knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, caring, and understanding. She bends over backwards to help me. I used to be a Pharmacy Technician at a Ma and Pa corner drugstore in 1972. We always knew our patients names and we always treated them with respect and kindness. It’s extremely rare to find someone like Joanne. She’s the best.”

“Not a bad gas station and convenience store combo. Not much parking available. You have to get creative. The store is not unlike most gas station convenience stores: Limited selection of basic items at an incredibly high mark-up. The store itself is fairly clean, and the staff is not super unfriendly like you tend to see at gas station convenience stores. In general, it isn't bad if you're OK with paying $6+ for a bag of chips and ~$3 for a 20-ounce Coke Zero.”

“I love this place. It's clean, the staff is very friendly especially night staff. They've given my husband free donuts and pastries with coffee and a soda when we fell on hard times. I tried to repay them but they wouldn't take it. Very good place to get gas, snacks, drinks, cigarettes, coffee etc. Anything you may need from gas station and even some stuff you might have not thought you did need you'll find here. Thank you to the staff for all you do and there not another gas station I'd want to go to ⛽?✌??”

“One of the best 7/11 out here! Everyone here who gave a review has only been here once. This is by far the best customer service and nicest people working here. They always have anything you need if you just ask nicely. Taquitos are always there when you need them nice and they are always hot too!!! Would recommend coming here 5/5, I’m a regular I should know ???”

“Well, I never thought I'd write a review for a convenience store, especially since I so seldom visit them, but this 7-11 really impressed me. (Oh, that sounds so ridiculous.) Aside from the usual convenience store high prices, I liked everything about my recent experience here. They had the only item I wanted (unsweetened iced tea) in the cooler, there was still some fruit on the shelf despite the late hour, and everything was very clean. I saw no sticky puddle under the slurpee machine, no trail of crumbs from the donut case, and no wads of gum stuck to the counter. Instead of the stereotypically rude convenience store staff, the clerk asked me if I needed help with the door (probably because I am massively pregnant). I didn't, but it was so nice that he asked! So much better than the typical, "Don't let the door hit you on your way out, thanks for wasting my time," inflection so common in these places. If you're going to hit up a convenience store, this is a pretty good one to try. They seem to keep the shelves stocked, clean the place regularly, and value customer service.”
“I come here regularly on weekends or occasionally, great place, cashiers treat me well, never dirty or out of supplies. I dunno why people are giving this 7-Eleven 1 stars, mostly they do that because it closes at 11 pm, even though 7/11 LITERALLY stands for 7 am thru 11pm. If anything, the customers are the ones being rude, they’re always rusing the cashiers and giving them an attitude.”
