“This review is long and very long overdue. On a Friday, I was in search of a particular part for my dad's lawnmower. He wasn't able to go himself, so he sent me. I called to confirm the part and the staff was very accommodating. It was 20 mins to closing at the time and I was all the way in Orland. I asked if they could possibly stick around for 15 mins after closing because my dad really needed the part and I wouldn't be able to make it at opening the next day at 7am. They agreed!
Traffic took a bit longer, and I arrived 30 mins after closing. When I pulled up to the parking lot, there were 2 cars there and a guy (Taylor, I think?) walking towards 1. I drove up to him and asked if everyone was gone, then explained my situation.
He SO KINDLY said sure, let's get that part for you, and REOPENED THE STORE just so I could buy it ?
We walked in to the store, lights off, alarm on, and I was able to get the part.
That kind of kindness doesn't go unnoticed. It may be just a part, but the actions and willingness to help will make me a forever patron at Ace in Dyer. It speaks volumes of the guy who helped, management, and the owners. Thank you all sooooo much for your above and beyond assistance that day! I'm very grateful ☺️”
“Staff there has always been nice. However, I was always taught and instructed. When handling money to give and receive transactions from hand to hand, that includes items purchased? This means that if I provide money transactions from my hand to yours, then the receiver should do the same. I held my hand out for change and receipt. Money placed in hand items purchased placed on counter.”

“First time going to this Ace as it's a little further than the closest one to me. Went in looking for a Stihl leaf blower for my dad and the cashier was really nice and got ahold of someone to walk us through the maintenance and details of this purchase. Once we purchased the BG50 (I believe it was the manager on duty) put some gas in it and took us outside, showed us all the functions and started it before we left. Although I knew how to operate a Stihl my father was very impressed by the service and this location has definitely become my new go to Ace.”

I was looking to purchase an item I found online but could not seem to find it anywhere in the store, she was quick to help track it down and was so thoughtful and kind to do, so especially during a very busy day. When she could at first not locate the item I said it was okay to leave it, but she persisted to help me anyways and ended up finding my item promptly. “Omg I haven't been in Menards in years wow it has everything that you couldn't imagine when I seen they had a section in there that has toiletries can goods health products etc. you name it they got it I didn't have to go to any other store but to buy my meat products an the store is so big so for ppl that have health issues they do have scooters an don't worry they are nice size for those who are plus size like myself?? an they have workers throughout the store so if you can't find what you looking for they would happily assist you without a problem the the workers all are so awesome very courtesy an polite thank y'all so much Menards customer service an staff you guys are awesome ?”
