“These guys have the best,the best, Caramel macchiato liquid creamer, and if you mix it with the caramel macchiato cold foam and some regular whipped cream out the bottle, and drizzle caramel on top (you can never have enough!) If you all haven't tried them you should! Aside from that this store has very comparable prices with Walmart across the hiway, but they have the best prices on most of the things I get there and they have a very decent selection of canned veggies and soups ♡”

“Absolutely love the DG family, and when you shop there as much as I do, and see them every day, they become like family. All of the ladies and Jay are extremely helpful and really sweet. Now if only they made it into a market place so I wouldn’tHave to go anywhere else to buy my meat and veggies! Truly a staple for Fosterburg citizens and surrounding areas! “Very busy location. The store is mostly well stocked. The main areas that lack are the produce department and the bread aisle. This location is clean and has polite staff. Just stay away at the first of the month as all the SSI shoppers are out ?.”
“Place is always clean. They have a couple coolers that are not working properly but overall the equipment is in good shape. Just don't expect your Vitamin Water to be cold. The ladies are always friendly and the new drive through window is a nice convenience. Fair selection of household items and dry goods. Lottery and they take EBT which is super advantageous. Never a bad experience and they properly serve the community!”
“Ruler Foods Has Been My New Grocery Shopping Store For Some Years Now.. Because The Price Of Food Has Grown Increasingly High, I Can Shop There And Really Get My Money's Worth..Ruler Has Almost Everything Walmart And Other Big Grocery Stores Have Its Just Cheaper, MUCH Cheaper! Their Meats Section Is Small But They Have The Basics And The Quality Is Great..The Store Is Smaller Than Most Larger Stores So Of Course They Don't Have A Huge Variety But The Variety They DO Have Is Inexpensive And It Tastes Great..They Also Have The Majority Of Name Brand Foods Just Cheaper..This Store Will Always Be My Go To.”

“I live in the Edwardsville area, but I will drive to the Granite city Aldi because it is bigger and has more of a selection. The aisles are plenty spaced out for people to easily maneuver, which is not true of the Glen Carbon Aldi.
It also has a wonderfully long aisle of shame.”
“Nice, but the other day there was only one white guy working. We waited in line for like 10 minutes. Whatever, we get it, and felt bad for the guy as there were several people inquiring about other cashiers.
We get up to the line and my mom is pulling up her app to pay for the food. The cashier rolls his eyes, sighs, and then yells "PLEASE HAVE YOUR PAYMENT READY WHEN YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE". Like. Sir. We waited for so long. You can't wait a few seconds while my mom pulls up her payment?Seriously? She wasn't being rude or literally anything like the rest of the folks in line. She was actively trying to not even act frustrated. She was waiting patiently and was just trying to get out.
I get he was frustrated, but my mom was already anxious about that. There was no need to act so rudely and it only took her literally 6 seconds. Get right, Man. Save the attitude for people who deserve it.

“I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!! Went in here to pickup a warehouse transfer to take to another one of their DC’s. The other save-a-lots should all come take lessons from this one. From the time I turned in the driveway until the time I left, 20 minutes!!!! Guy in shipping had a good sense of humor, and was nice! The other one that loaded me was super fast and nice as well! “This store has gotten better since it became the DG Market and they put in self check out lanes and its not as cluttered as some of the other Dollar General stores. Its great for stopping to grab 1 or 2 things when you don't have the time to go to walmart or target.”

“Nice little spot, right outside of town. They got all the snacks and drinks and gasoline you could ever want! I mean, maybe that's an exaggeration. They can only fit so much in the store, ya know! They're trying, dang it! Get off their backs!”
“DG Market is a Dollar General Store with a much larger grocery selection. I'd say it is approximately 60% grocery and 40% your typical dollar store variety. The grocery area reminded me of a low-end Aldi's or a Ruler store. They did have many name brands and then a good variety of generic brands that you most likely never heard of. Be sure to know your prices, many items I saw were not priced cheaper then your typical Target or Schnucks. I did great buying school supplies for a local charity. I was able to get a lot more here, than at the local office supply or Target stores. Also, being a greeting card junkie I was able to snag up several good cards on the cheap. A cheap card makes up for the expensive postage. I also got a package of 8 cute blank note cards for a $1. That is mind blowing. For a discount store, it was well organized and clean. There was no clutter blocking the aisles. Associates on the floor were helpful, one guided me to the correct aisle for the school supplies. When checking out, the cashier was friendly and did his job well. Trying to be politically correct, he was a special needs individual and I was happy to see DG was giving him an opportunity to work. That got them the 4th Star.”
