“I love the Big Lot's rewards programs. It is easy and quick to earn rewards. I had one complaint about ordering on the website. I purchased window curtains, and for some reason, it would only let me order one pair. When I went to pick up my order, they had the curtains on the shelves, so I got another one in store. Big lots is one of my favorite places to shop because of the prices and purchasing options.”

“Recently started shopping here again after years of avoiding this store for many reasons, safety, seedy people, theft, store conditions. However, was pleasantly surprised at the obvious turnaround taking place under the New Store Manager Mike's management!! There is a visible difference in every area, store itself was much cleaner, better organized, and new security measures in place with addition of Stl police officers working as security not only at the entrance, but throughout the store. There is also friendly employees greeting you at the entrance, but best of all, while looking around, new Mgr Mike, approached me, introduced himself, offered assistance, and advised me of upcoming merchandise I may be interested in. After commenting on the positive changes I was seeing, he discussed his plan for turning this store around and was enthusiastic about it. Great job Mike !! You're a welcome sight in what had become a run down derelict store. Good luck sir”

“New manager the floors and the building looks much nicer. It makes you actually want to go in and shop and the new manager is very friendly and very helpful about where stuff is. Not to mention there's a whole new layout. And there's a new frozen food section”

“This target location is phenomenal. The service here is the best I’ve encountered anywhere. I’m every department I enter, someone is willing and excited to be helpful.Today, I made a return at the service desk, and the gentleman who assisted me was training other individuals, but he also taught me something new I didn’t know about the app and how easily they can access any purchase through the wallet. The entire interaction lasted less than 60 seconds, and I was off to Starbucks where the baristas there have learned my order, and are so dang pleasant!!”

“Thank you Walmart for letting me stay overnight as a truck driver. It’s really hard to find a parking at 2 AM. I’ve spent $130 but it was well worth it. The store is very nice and clean inside and out and they also have security so you can take a good night sleep. Thank you.”

“I love Target. I headed to this one in Belleville during work to return an online purchase and pick up a few items. I was not happy that the Target website was listing 2 items in inventory that were not in the store but I won't hold it against this location. Friendly in the return line and checkout. I will be back.”

“Walmart of the world, take notice! The Collinsville, IL location is by far one of the cleanest and most organized Walmart that I have ever been to. I stopped by to look at some of the new Arcade 1 Up devices in the electronics department. I was truly blown away by how well everything was displayed. Great job! I decide since I was there, I might as well do some shopping. The aisles were clear and easy to navigate with the shopping cart. I was able to find my groceries with ease and a few other items. I bought here than planned because the shopping experience at the Collinsville Walmart was wonderful! I wish that my local Walmart in O'Fallon, IL would send over their management team to see what a true Walmart Supercenter looks like. Another plus was I wasn't treated like a thief when I left the store with my paid items. Thank you Collinsville Walmart! I shall return very I would like to also add a thank you to their management team for responding promptly to a request for a price match. It might have taken multiple trips, but it was well worth it.”

“We recently relocated to the Alton area in this Walmart is the closer one to our house. I've read some of the other reviews complaining about customer service. I have not experienced any bad customer service from the employees. My biggest complaint about this store (and I've never seen it this bad anywhere else) is that they don't keep the shelves stocked very well. during peak shopping hours 5 to 8 PM the shelves should be stocked period. They should have stockers out there all day if they have to”
