“Sure gas is gas and there are stations all around Elgin however, the equipment is reliable, the gas is good, and most importantly the employees are helpful and very patient. I Iook forward to seeing Randy in particular due to his calm, cool, and competent help all the time. I go here and leave with a smile and a chuckle :-) Thanks and hope the owner realizes that people make the difference and Randy is a perfect example of that. With good information one can usually make good decisions. Just letting the truth have its day.”

“And so, it was a sign from the gods.... Three different trips and three stops later, this gas station seems to be willing me to write a review, and so I shall. They have restrooms that aren't filthy (stop #1), decent gas prices-cheaper than Chicago, more expensive than Rockford (stop #2 and #3) and are, apparently, very conviently located off I-90 on the Randall Rd exit. It was well lit, which made it easy to find and made me feel safer pumping. Kudos 7-Eleven, for being a lifesaver!”
282 Dundee Avenue, Elgin IL 60120
“I really enjoy coming to this location whether for gas or snacks/drinks. The people behind the counter are very friendly and helpful, if they don't have anything they are actively asking what other flavors, snacks, even smokes or vapes customers would like to try so they have it in stock. They really care about their customers and it's always refreshing to come and buy something from here. They also have a large variety of things and have what I want the majority of the time.”

“This place gave me the best car wash I’ve ever gotten. I showed up in my car, which is normally green, completely covered in road salt making it look pure white. It was so bad, honestly embarrassing and I just needed to get to any car wash so I could see out the windows. My jaw dropped when they finished, I had never seen my car so clean especially in February! I then drove to Chicago, parked on the street for 3 days (it even snowed) then drove 6 hours back to Minneapolis. After all that, my car is still just as green and shiny as it was immediately after the car wash!! I guess I’ll be taking a road trip from Minneapolis every time I need a car wash from now on, truly amazed. 100/100”

“I frequent this BP because it belongs to Upside, the savings app. This BP also has a Checkers, which is pretty good. The Checkers also belongs to the Upside app to save on each purchase. If interested download Upside and use code G38T6 to get an extra 0.15 on your 1st fill up. I have almost $700 banked up ready for me to use whenever I want it. 👍🤗”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
