“I had a wonderful experience at Xtra Mile! Both the owner Chris and the associate Kevin who I worked with were super resourceful and patient in helping me find the right running shoes for me. Appreciated the gait analysis they do at the store (having you walk/run on the treadmill and analyzing your video) and shoe recs. Ended up getting Brooks Glycerin Max on sale, which I’m liking so far. Chris is very involved in the community too and tries to be a resource for runners of all levels. Highly recommend this Xtra Mile Running!”

Their knowledge base is far beyond just equipment. They go above and beyond to know their clients and their bowling styles to make recommendations and give honest feedback. They even offer coaching! The staff is friendly and it’s obvious how much they love all the sport. You won’t go to any tournament around without seeing someone repping Star Pro Shop on their jersey!”

“Stopped in today to get new sneakers, and had a great experience.
It’s been a year since my last purchase at Peak. I have had 3 iterations of the same shoes that I loved. I expected to just update to the latest version of the same shoes. Megan brought a pair of shoes out and the newest version was not comfortable.
I explained what I didn’t like about the newest sneaker. Megan found me two great alternatives. She then grabbed a laptop and walked me through all the color options to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

“When I was a kid I sometimes got dropped off at my aunt’s house in LaGrange, and my little cousin and I would skateboard here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, dying to get a glimpse at some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the display case or buy a few packs or cards of our own. Yes Steven has that very dry sense of humor and droll attitude that some people might not like, but that’s PART of Steven’s experience! He’s never mean. We LOVED going and talking to him, sometimes he would get a little aggravated with us and we would turn to each other and giggle, and he would talk to us about the card game and help us understand things. If I could go back in time and relive those core memories I would without a second guess, times were much simpler when we skateboarded down the street to Steven’s. He also taught us a lot of invaluable lessons! One I still use to this day! (Read the fine print on eBay listings, they’ll send you an empty box if they can!)”
“Highly recommend this Play it again sports for all your athletic and fitness equipment needs, their battling cages in the back, and custom apparel made! I have taken my kids in for volleyball knee pads, ice skates, soccer cleats, shin guards, etc, and weights for myself. The staff is always friendly and eager to help you find what you are looking for.
As a business owner, I use their battling cage space in the back for mom and me classes. They are so welcoming and accommodating to me and our families.
Lastly, just used them to make custom hoodies for our members and they did a great job! They were reasonably priced, great quality, and were available quickly. This business, owner, and staff are great!”

“What a fantastic store at Yorktown! We were in town from Canada, and wanted to buy two bear shirts but they were only large and we needed medium. Once we got back to Canada, I called to see if there was any way we could have some shipped. The staff kept keeping me posted as to ways to have them sent to Canada. I received many calls from Yorktown. They got a hold of Lucy, at their warehouse, and she quickly set me up with the way to have them shipped to Canada. “Amazing experience at this store on July 4th' 2024! My wife and I were visiting Chicago from CA. She went shopping at this Under Armour store in the mall in the evening of July 3rd. That night she realized she had lost Tiffany's white gold bracelet with diamonds that I had gifted her for our 25th anniversary! She could not sleep that night! Next morning we called the store. Alex (did not ask for his last name) picked up the phone. We explained the situation. He put us on hold - it took longer than expected so we thought they could not find the bracelet and it is gone! To our surprise, when Alex came back on the call, he asked for us to identify the bracelet. Once we did he said, he has the bracelet. It was such a relief to hear that. We were overjoyed. We drove to the mall, met with Alex at the store and he handed us the bracelet. This bracelet has sentimental value for us but is also very expensive. We are so grateful to Alex for what he did. We appreciate his customer service, honesty, integrity and effort to thoroughly look for out prized possession. Thank you so much, Alex.”

“Very helpful and reliableI got my phone fixed from a cheaper quoted fixers and within a month it got it in to trouble and then i contacted Mr. Phone.According to their adviceMy 11 pro got fixed now it’s completely working smoothly.The technician who came to fix the screen explains it in detail where is the problem and what did they do to fix it which is very knowledgeable for me to not to blindest trust local fixers and get again in trouble.Excellent, professional, reasonably priced service. I have used previously for cracked screen but today they replaced entire glass on back, sides and front of phone and picked up / delivered on time; it was such a smooth service. Would highly recommend!”
