“Rented a Ford Transit 250 high roof cargo van to move stuff from Brooklyn to Chicago and returned it here because it was the cheapest drop off location (would have paid >$100 extra to return in Chicago; grateful for the Penske phone rep who helped me find the best deal). The Penske counter is the same as the Home Depot tool rental counter, and the guy who helped me out was very kind, friendly, and had some fun dad-like jokes prepared as we inspected the rental together. (He also writes noir fiction and I'm bummed I've forgotten the name of his book; would like to check it out). I filled the tank at the grocery just north of the Home Depot, which seemed to be the cheapest in the vicinity -- but wish I'd also filled up right before entering Illinois, as the tank is huge and Indiana was way cheaper. Anyway, wouldn't hesitate to rent from or return to this spot! Glad I went with Penske; Budget was cheaper but they don't guarantee the vehicle you select will be there, and I had a great experience at both pick up and drop off as well as a sparkling clean, brand new van (I think they're just starting their cargo van program, so they're all fairly new).”
“Only used it a couple of times, but this facility is super clean and convenient. Mark was very helpful each and every time I was there. As far as storage units are concern, I really can't ask for more.”
“The manager Tim is a fantastic guy, he’s super personable, interesting to talk to, and patient with us. He showed us the spaces that would work for us and got us through the whole process with no headaches”
“This facility is very well kept, it’s lit up nicely and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Cindy really helped out my partner and I with making the right choice for our storage needs. She took her time to give us a tour and have us look around at multiple storage units and explained the various pricing options in detail!”
“Staff was incredible. Friendly, hands on and accommodating. The truck was very clean, well maintained and easy to use. They saved my butt on a late scheduling and then helped me out again with extending my rental time. Cannot recommend this business enough!!!”
“This facility is conveniently located, has great accessibility, and is very clean and well climate controlled. Most importantly, Janesa and the other staff I have worked with are very professional, friendly and accommodating. A great experience.”
“Great service, great prices, I was moving out last month made the process extremely easy. Thought I wasn’t getting a unit after 5pm. I was able to secure one and was move in ready in one hour.”

“Aram and Raffi were incredible professionals. Their site officially opens at 9:30a and when we ran into an unforeseen event, they offered to be available to complete the pickup at 9:00a! They accommodated our several changes without a moment's hesitation. Their professionalism lends credibility to U-Haul's reputation for service.”
“Amed ensured of such an accommodating experience. Let me choose between cars was very patient and informative throughout the choice process. Made sure I picked a vehicle that was the right size for my family and even showed me some great features about the car. I was so impressed. Go here if you need a rental good service and courtesy within your experience.”
“The service was extremely excellent even though it was a last minute rental
Amed had a great sense of humor and take care me I really appreciate the help and the service”
“The U-Haul employee was extremely customer-service oriented and did an excellent job. Even though the office was about to close at 7:00 PM, I arrived at 6:55 PM, and he still took the time to process my order without making me feel rushed or unwelcome. I really appreciate his professionalism, patience, and dedication to helping customers. Excellent service!”
“This location is also a repair shop, where they correct anything wrong with the rental, so the truck rented from them runs well. NOBODY wants to be broke down on the road - have used them, G and G Service, 3 times and will continue to do so. Also, nice people to deal with.”

“I have rented U-Hauls a few times before over the past 25 years in various locations in various cities and states. This was not a new truck BUT it was spotless and ran perfectly, which was a first. The owner of the location was ready for me, he and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful. Truly the simplest rental I have had through u-haul yet. Moving anything is a stressful but this was not.”
“Good location and although we weren’t given the pick up
Location we wanted by traffic dept this location was solid. Veronica was amazing and made the rental process seemless! Thank you Veronica!”

“I've rented my share of trucks,, vans and trailers and my experience at Uhaul in Lincoln Park was the best! I specifically reserved here because I wanted to be sure to get a cargo van, not whatever was available at a random garage. We arrived right at opening on a Friday and checked out within minutes. The van we rented was ready to go - clean and easy to drive. We returned it 11 hours later (had rented it for the day, so 24 hours) and return was easy peasy. The people who work at this location are friendly and helpful and the equipment was excellent! Thank you, Uhaul of Lincoln Park!”
“Wow from the time I called the nice lady on the phone to say I was running late. To myself picking up the truck & both the very sweet lady at the desk to the young lady Taryn who walked me to the truck helping me ! You guys
Have awesome customer service! Thank you So much
I will definitely come back.”
“The whole experience was super easy. The owner was super nice and explained how to return truck after hours. I love that it’s in the neighborhood and so convenient.”
“Here’s a couple things. The guy who got me set up with a vehicle was great. The 1st truck was not the van I’d signed up for, and had no working a/c and the check engine light was on. I declined to drive that one. The one I ended up with was okay, but the steering wheel was sticky. I think just from age. All in all it was an okay experience. I just wish it’d been a van. I did not like driving a huge truck in Chicago.”
“I’ve been renting cars with Avis for the past five years, and every time, Mohamed has been outstanding. He always finds me the best car at the best rates. I highly recommend working with Mohamed if you rent with Avis—they have the best cars and the best service!”
“Sun Auto’s staff was amazing. They assisted in hooking up the u-haul trailer, made sure all of the equipment was in order, helped me with a return, and were very friendly. Top notch customer service.”
“Young lady at the front desk is amazing who ever was working today at 4:40 pm helped me and my mom with a situation That had nothing to do with her store. stunning!!!!!!! NEED MORE LIKE HER .Thank You Future GM”
“Great location and overall a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, even after closing time, which we really appreciated.
The only downside was that the 10’ truck we rented did not have a rearview camera, which made backing out of tight spaces a little difficult. Thankfully, there were two of us, so the other person could help guide the driver.
Other than that, the truck was great and we had a very positive experience overall. Would definitely use them again!”
“Have 3 storage units there for last 12-14 years. Reasonable prices compare to other storage units places. The owners and staff are great. Can rent u-haul trucks also. Prices on boxes, tape are reasonable also. Highly recommend this location. They know their customers well.”
