“Hidden Gem!!!! A great book story with selections for everyone. We went for the first time last night and we were able to find a few books we were looking for. The staff was great and helpful. The books were organized and the place had a great flow. Has a great kids section as well. If your in the area it is a must stop and check it out.”
“A humble yet extraordinary culturally robust community center. An absolute Chicago gem. Teresa and Pablo Are generous visionaries devoted to keeping Pilsen culturally authentic as their space consistently gives local artists, authors, creators an opportunity to expand their work. Places like Pach keep Pilsen’s heart pulse alive.
Took moment to drop in as there is no charge and you will see pics artist arts and crafts and some for purchase.
Hot tips: Take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy all the murals! Looks for the mural Loteria doors that are all around.
Make sure to stop by Cafe Jumping or Urban Treez (next door) for a latte and or meal.
Take a walk to the historical Rudy Lozano Library.
Take a drive to the National Mexican Museum and have a picnic at the park adjacent to it.”

“This is easily one of the best bookstores I have ever been to and it is tucked away in a really lovely area.
If you are hunting for the Western philosophy section, consider this your insider tip. They don’t actually have a clear sign posted for it. When you first walk into the main entrance room, head all the way to the right, and you will find it right there on the end wall. You’re welcome!
The effort to locate it is completely worth it, as the selection is massive. Their theology section is equally impressive and well-curated. For anyone who loves getting lost in deep, substantial sections of philosophy and faith, this spot is an absolute gem.”

“The staff here are very knowledgeable and kind! The gentleman helping me choose my Bible gave great insight on selecting the right bible version for me. They have Bible options available for all versions to suit all readers. They stock different options in multiple colors and sizes also! They even have highlighters, tabs, and book marks! The two gentlemen on staff during my visit were very helpful and the shop has a great atmosphere! I will definitely be back!”

“Visited for 1st time during their Tiny Stage love edition for Valentine's weekend. Lovely place. Friendly staff. Vast array of titles. The event was well attended. Great vibe.
The negatives? Prices were not reflected on many of the merchandise items; I had to repeatedly request prices. A little disorganized. Some of the items were a bit pricey. ? Bookmarks were about 6 bucks.
Overall, a very nice experience with a lot of networking opportunities for positive, Black peeps. Plan to return for future events.”

“This is quite a nice bookstore, and I enjoyed perusing the bookshelves. The first floor is mostly university merchandise, but the second floor has a combination of textbooks for classes and a good assortment of other books. The book section isn't huge, but it is dense and thorough. The store is well worth browsing if you're in the area.”
