“Great funky general bookstore with a mix of new and old titles, lots of really good children's books, a good selection of cookbooks, and poetry. As a part of Seminary Co-op, 57th St is now a non-profit. Great staff. Support small, local bookstores.”

905 W 19th St, Chicago“Super cool spot. Upon arriving, I had no clue where the entrance was. It was only when people came out of the building that I realized that was the entrance. Once inside, I was left in awe of the magnitude of the place. A huge old warehouse transformed into a book “store”? Absolutely amazing. REMEMBER, you put the price in the books, not the other way around. When I was here, the cashier tried to give me a price when it shouldn't be like that. Don't feel intimidated and pay whatever you think is fair. There’s also a Spanish section right by the entrance.”
“Excellent variety of books and helpful staff. The on campus store is bigger than the other one and has more stock. They have a nice selection of medieval latin books and sci-fi books”
“Great neighborhood bookstore. Found books slightly cheaper online, but definitely felt it was worth supporting a local company. Staff was very helpful and patient.”
“What a creative and friendly space. I dropped off my coffin Art piece for the 10th Annual Beautiful Souls show. Had a lovely conversation with Executive Director Teresa. I can't wait for the opening, Oct 13th, to meet the other artists. I highly recommend stopping by!”

“First went here as a kid and thought it was literally the coolest place around to be. Being 21 now I've gotten more interested in comics and movies throughout the years. I recently purchased two posters of some favorite films of mine from here and was very satisfied with them. This place is an absolute treasure trove of pure awesomeness. The guy who owns the place is such an awesome dude and was very kind and helpful. If you love comics, card games, and movies this is your go-to place. Will definitely be going back to purchase some posters and comics very soon.”
“Great selection of used books in a variety of subjects. They buy books, but are judicious in what they take (it's chiefly an academic book store)--some reviewers seem to miss this point.”

“One of my all-time favorite bookstores, but you must love art and architecture-related subjects to really appreciate this store. My husband is eternally resigned to the fact that I spend several hours at Paragon Book Gallery whenever we go there.”
