“Very great place to stop and get food and snacks when traveling. This location was very clean and well staffed at all hours. They also have a ton of rarer candy and soda varieties compared to other gas stations. On top of that they had a huge variety of toys and gifts at very competitive prices and discounts which i never have encountered at a gas station before. Ihad a situation where my car broke down near this establishment and I was stranded until being able to locate a company to transport my vehicle to Chicago for repairs and the staff and management were very kind and flexible allowing me time to arrange getting transported home. They were courteous as can be and provided top notch customer service and even provided advice at times. I am very grateful for all they did to help make a bad experience better.”

“Perfectly situated in the middle of nowhere right outside Stephen A Forbes State Park is Omega General Store. We have been there hundreds of times over the years never a complaint we get bread and deli sliced meats and cheeses, groceries and toiletries bagged ice cold beer basically anything we forget while camping, or if the drink cooler needs refilled. The made to order pizza is absolutely a family favorite. Perfect to take home after a day on the lake or for dinner in the camper when it’s raining. They have video gaming and an ATM. The staff is always super friendly no matter how many pizza’s they have ahead of ours when we call they are incredibly polite and kind to take our order I’ve grown up going to this store and never been treated rudely by an employee over the years. Stop in. You won’t regret it.”
