“This place has been around for 8 years and how am I just finding out about this gem?! I found the same brands I buy at Discovery for even less here. I found adorable comfy clothes and some beautiful home decor items. The fragrances arent the best but they have a wide selection to try. You may be able to find one for really cheap that you like!They have a wide selection of coats, sweats, yoga pants, shirts, dresses, shoes.I was very impressed with the variety of vases, mirrors, art, and decorative items. Don't worry about the employees since they work long hours and you just have to be grateful that they are there and this place exists. They may not be the most helpful but it's not the biggest deal.”

“Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”
“This Meijer is huge and I've never seen it busy, even on the weekends! The grocery side of the store can get a little busy but the center household/clothing section and the home improvement section on the other side is always empty. If you walk around for long enough you'll start finding the secret clearance sections!”
“I feel like Macy's has made improvements over the past several years, there was a time when it was a bit of a mess and akin to Kohl's with everything always on sale. It's looking and feeling better now. I did notice on a recent trip that the men's dress clothing section has dramatically decreased - the tie selection isn't what it used to be. On a second recent trip I needed an analog wrist watch that met some very specific requirements and was under $100 and the sales lady in the watch section really stepped up to help, even though it was a small purchase in comparison to most of the other watches there. Not only did she find me exactly what I needed, she provided me with options and double checked the product information online to make sure it met my needs.”
“It's a very specific & huge store with an endless variety of products, including food, clothing, pharmacy, alcoholic beverage. Most of food are organic. Very good choices for a big family.”

They even have a 14pc pastel paint kit too!! They have some really great ideas for those who like to do at home projects! And the prices, are within budget! And don't get me started on their Halloween ?? sections, cause they are just full of awesomeness..”

“I visited from Canada and stopped by Nordstrom Rack in Oakbrook to shop for sunglasses and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any Nordstrom Rack. Tammy was an absolute gem! She helped me pick out the perfect pair with honesty and care, never hesitating to tell me which styles didn’t suit me. Her energy was warm, and her sincerity truly stood out.

“Nice clothes for nice cheap price. They had variety of quality goods and I loved & enjoyed purchasing them.
It was a bit crowded. Had to wait in a line for almost 10 minutes. I would like to visit again when it’s less crowded.
It was nice to be able to buy good quality clothes and daily necessities at a low price. Rather than just selling cheap Chinese factory products, you can actually buy products that are sold on the market at a low price ?
It wasn't that many people, but it was still a bit crowded. Visiting hours are between 6 and 7 p.m. I intend to visit again.”

The store Needs in store wheel cars for the handicapped ♿️ and an express line for those who can't walk stand for too long. As in another store like Wal-Mart and Sam's would get customers to stay in the store and shop longer therefore making more sales.”

“I was looking for a mirror and found a few here, from small size to the one I got, 48 x 76 inches. I asked if someone could help me with it, and soon, two people did help me get it with their cart.
The person at the register was friendly and fast, I paid and also got a bit of help getting the mirror on my vehicle.
They had many registers open when the line got longer.
The store was clean, there is plenty of free parking right in front.
Overall I like the store and I'll come back.”

“This Marshall’s is my favorite Marshall’s I’ve ever been to. It’s so good over there and clean. The cashiers are very nice especially this young girl with brown or blonde hair who was so nice to my grandfather who did not speak English. I think her name started with a Ya but either way she was so kind to him and was definitely trained by some great people over at this Marshall’s. I am so happy with my shopping experience and me and my kids will come here soon. ?♥️”

“I had a very good experience today at the Sephora within this Kohls store. The young woman working was very attentive, capable and pleasant. I watched her deal with a very annoying customer who tried to monopolize her time with ridiculous requests, and this young lady was extremely patient and professional. I just do not understand why customers do not see that other people are waiting behind them. There is no reason to ask for directions to another store in the age of Google maps!
I actually felt entertained watching this woman (customer) make demands of this very patient employee with multiple ridiculous requests. It’s astounding to me how people do not seem to realize they aren’t the only person on planet earth!
Again back to the employee- she was awesome and kind. I could not have had the same level of patience. I wish I had gotten her name so I could recognize her professionalism. She even thanked me for waiting and recognized how long I had to wait.
It’s not often you encounter employees like this. Thank you!”
“This is a good cheapie store for a lot of little things you may need around your house and seasonal supplies. It's not a good looking store, it's outdated and shows its age pretty badly and can get crowded but the prices are better than most stores but the quality is better than stuff at the Dollar stores. I've not bought food items here but if you need soap or handtowels or the like this is the place”
“Last week, clearance sales were everywhere in JCP. I know consumers aren't shopping here like they used to in the 90's, but I found some hidden gems. They still have some great brands, like Liz Claiborne and Haggar. I got a $275.00 overcoat for $43.99. My daughter bought a $100 puffer jacket with a hood for $24.49. It's worth a look in all departments.”

“I had an excellent experience... I purchased furniture online which didn't fit into my daughter's apartment... I had to go through the store for a refund and Darius I believe his name the store manager was very helpful and patient with me... He is awesome... His manager of the furniture department Mariah I believe is her name helped me as well. The store was fully stocked and clean. Whenever I'm ever in that area, I'll surly shop there.... And the employees were very helpful...”
