“Reading the reviews I just want to share a little history. My family moved to Eola in 1963, I was 10 yrs old. I moved back to Eola in 1997 to care for my elderly parents. The post office was a small little bldg on the opposite side of the road about a block up. The current post office was a general store. The kids that lived here and there was about 40 of us in the 60s use to ride our bikes and buy a bottle of pop out of the cooler along with other items. The original lil bldg now sits over on 4th st at one of the residences.”
“Honestly the best and only great interaction I've had with the postal service. I came here because most offices have terrible ratings. It's clear why this location stands out above the rest. The employees here are great, the service is excellent and efficient. Take this and repeat it everywhere.”
“My partner and myself went to two other US Post Office locations, Plainfield and Lisle, in which, we were told we were not able to access the passport services as a walk-in. The Warrenville Post Office both actually accepted us as walk-ins and were extremely helpful. The staff was friendly, responsive, personable, and knowledgeable. We waited for a family, who was having trouble completing the application, and the staff at the post office ensured we would get our passport that day. They took us into the passport office, even after the service was suppose to be done/closed for the day. The team handled us with care, accommodated the family before us and ourselves, and had the most amazing staff full of energetic and kind personalities. Truly, the best customer service experience both my partner and myself have ever experienced! I cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are for the individuals working on the day we stopped in. I can’t thank them enough for the hospitality and guidance offered!”

But even if there's a line I don't mind because they have all of the other post offices in the area beat in customer service. I live in St Charles and go out of my way to come here; the St Charles post office is horrendous, they close during the afternoon when they want, they are rude and take forever even when dropping a simple package. “I go to the post office almost everyday so when I say that this Post Office is one of the best in the area I mean it. The staff is friendly and respectful. They will help you out and tell you at least what you can do if you have an issue. Especially the guy that’s usually on the far left register who wears glasses when you’re looking at the counter. Staff will actually treat you with respect and they definitely don’t talk trash to customers like other USPS’s.
They have things set up so that you can use the manual scanning machine to check in your packages (if you want a receipt) and then you can put your packages on the counter all the way on the right end of the blue front counter where the counter dips a little. You will see other packages sitting there. I have never had an issue with this post office. I have never had a lost package I dropped off here. Of course you can always scan and put in the box like normal, or you can also just wait in line if your not comfortable using the manual machine. (But it does save a lot of time. Just remember that your package isn’t OFFICIALLY scanned in until it’s scanned by a USPS employee, but that’s just a legal disclaimer.)
Like I said no issues ever at this post office. Sometimes the lines get a little long but that’s only because the other Post Offices in the area are known to be awful. There should be a big difference in the star rating between here and other USPS’s. Far better than the most other Post offices in the area.
BTW; Another great location is North Aurora. If you live in the area I would try to go to either one.
One last note…(Avoid Batavia USPS like the plague. I have seen those employees get away with EVERYTHING. They are so bad I am mentioning it in another USPS review just as a courtesy, but if you want to see how hard it is to terminate a USPS employee visit Batavia post office…)

I’ve been coming for years, and while the queues and waiting times can be a bit long, I’ve always received excellent service from the only one teller working. The postal service clerk handles everything professionally and efficiently. The place might not be spick and span, but it’s still worth popping back to whenever neccessary.”
