“Ace is the place and this particular store is one of my go to spots for hardware and keys. I also bought my last Toro mower here. The only downside is when I had the mower serviced, there was not very good communication about how things were going. This might have been due to the place they send the mowers out to, but the manager recently told me she would personally get back to me and didn’t.”

“I am a manager for a business down the street from this location. I choose to give our business to Ace because of the staff on duty. Leslie has been AMAZING at helping me out. The customer service I’ve gotten has been unmatched. Thank you to the management of this store and a special thank you to Leslie for always helping me out. Everyone at this location has been fantastic.”
30 W Lake St, Addison IL 60101
“I’ve been going here for over 40 years, from when it was a single building, all the way up to the current layout. They have always been the go to place for those simple things, to those unusual fasteners and Pushmatic breakers. The running joke was, if Len’s didn’t have it, you didn’t need it. Well, with the invention of the internet and stuff, it’s a little less true, but still great for product. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, always great with their service department, I love their propane refill service.”

“I want to give a huge thank-you to John at Ace Hardware today for his outstanding customer service! He went above and beyond to help me replace a part on our weed wacker, and he was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. It’s so refreshing to receive this kind of personal service. John took the time to make sure I had what I needed and made the whole experience so easy. Thank you, John, for going the extra mile! Ace Hardware is lucky to have you!”

“Nice store. I needed gardening gloves and landscaping waste bags. They were very conveniently placed near the cashier. The gardening glove selection is limited, but I was able to find a pair that fit my hands, and contained a protective leather tip for the index finger. Great for digging around river rocks. It’s a small store and the selection of product varieties is highly curated. But it’s my first stop to purchase items for my home’s hardware needs.”
272 W Lake St, Bloomingdale IL 60108
“this store is so much better than going and getting lost in the giant hardware megaplexes, they have everything you need and everyone is so helpful. They are very caring and compassionate and know where everything is at the store, no reason to go anywhere else.”
837 S Westmore-Meyers Rd, Lombard IL 60148
“David at Ace Hardware is an absolute lifesaver! I was on a mission to find a very specific screw, and honestly, I was starting to lose hope. David didn't just point me in a direction; he walked me over, listened carefully to what I needed, and somehow knew *exactly* which obscure screw it was. David’s knowledge and patience were incredible. Ace Hardware is lucky to have him!”

“As one of the only hardware stores in central extreme central western DuPage it's a godsend when the nearest big box stores are 1/2 hour away. Hillman selection could be better but staff are friendly and knowledgeable.”
1559 Irving Park Road, Hanover Park IL 60133
“Current store manager was amazing. Started with an enthusiastic good morning and offer to help as soon as I walked in. He processed a return for a tool that had been recalled some time ago without any hustle. Good to know that they take care of issues when needed.”
225 W Roosevelt Rd, Lombard IL 60148
“Erin was lovely and possibly the reason the business looks more like a model home than a body shop. Dave was very helpful and really went above and beyond in both his work and his explanations/communications with me!”

“5 star customer service given by Andrew. Without even being asked he offered to load up my carpet cleaner and did it was a smile. Beyond happy with this, highly recommend this location. Give that kid a raise!!!”

“My AC was leaking and had Antonio come resolve the issue. He was prompt and respectful. Fully explained what happened and how to prevent it in the future. As anyone knows it’s difficult to someone you can always rely on but AnyTemp has been my go to for HVAC related issues since recently installing a new furnace for me. All their employees are knowledgeable and take their time to explain what’s going on which is greatly appreciated. Fantastic work and value.”
312 West Front Street, Wheaton IL 60187
“Carlson Glass & Mirror are a great resource for any glass and mirror needs. We recently gave them an antique coffee table top that had a crack in the glass top. Ray was straightforward with me about the potential cost and time it would take. Surprisingly, Ray called me the next day and advised that they were able to complete the work overnight and for far less than we anticipated. I would highly recommend them.”

“I had a great experience today at Woodcraft in Downers Grove. I brought in an old hand plane that I restored for some troubleshooting. Carl spent about 30 minutes working on it and eventually got it tuned up great. He was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time. I really appreciated it. Two younger guys at the front desk were also very helpful. The store is immaculate and organized and I got some nice lumber at a great price.”
225 Saint Charles Road, Villa Park IL 60181
“They dont make em like these guys anymore! I couldn't afford a pro so i tried to replace a kitchen faucet myself. Ran into other issues. Ron was so sweet! Super knowledgeable, eager to help, even talked me through most of the repair in person and by phone. Tell him Deb with the purple hair sent you 😉”
2419 Ogden Avenue, Lisle IL 60532
“Went into the store to purchase a leaf blower, talked with the manager, Trace, and walked out with leaf blower, edger, and lawn mower! Excellent service and knowledge about what the customer needs. Time was taken and full explanations of how machines work and warranties were given. He even helped me set up the registration. So nice to see a shop that actually believes in and backs what they sell. Northwest Lawn is the only place I will purchase my lawn equipment from! Great to know I can get my products serviced here as well. I will be back!”

“Ebel's has been a staple hardware store in South Elmhurst for decades. Some things may be priced higher than your big warehouse type stores, but what I prefer about Ebel's is there is always an employee easy to find that will assist or direct you to your needs. This is a huge time saving bonus that I appreciate and will likely always pick them over the big warehouse businesses I like to avoid.”
1030 North Washington Street, Naperville IL 60563
“I've been a customer of this Ace Hardware since 1988 — nearly four decades now. Faces have changed over the years, but the sense of genuine relationship with the owners and staff has never wavered. I'll admit, when the store's longtime local ownership sold to the corporate Ace team a few years back, I worried that the personal touch might get lost. I'm happy to say that concern turned out to be unfounded. So many of the relationships I built over the years have carried through. Just last weekend, over Labor Day, I needed help choosing a new grill. Linda and Sandy not only walked me through finding the best option for my family — and the most economical one — but then these two didn't hesitate to help me hoist a heavy, fully-assembled Weber grill into the back of my truck. That kind of care is exactly why I'll always be a grateful, loyal customer of this Ace Hardware on Washington St. in Naperville.”
29W151 North Ave, West Chicago IL 60185
“Did a fantastic job tuning up and repairing my mower and chainsaw, very competitive pricing. I also bought a Stihl leaf blower I’m very happy with. Scott is a very nice and knowledgeable man.”

“They are rearranging everything but I love going to the hardware store ❤️. A little messy but I don't mind. I tend to hunt down the older people because they know better where things. Nothing against the youth. It takes a lot of time to find anything when it's all moved around ?”
1212 South Naper Boulevard Ste 117, Naperville IL 60540
“I am so grateful that we have our own Ace Hardware now. The staff here are amazing. They go the extra mile and are intent to see that your project is done well!”
