“I’ve rarely had issues with customer service, but my experience today around 1:30 PM was deeply disappointing. The cashier I interacted with was visibly impatient and spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone regarding my method of payment. She did not acknowledge my polite greeting, which immediately set an uncomfortable tone.
As a Muslim woman who wears hijab, the interaction felt influenced by implicit bias toward my identity and intersectionality. Being treated differently based on appearance or background is unacceptable, and no customer should feel uncomfortable or disrespected in this way.
This experience was distressing enough that I now feel hesitant to use non–self-checkout lanes. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reinforces expectations around professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and respectful treatment of all customers.
Other than this one experience I have nothing but great feedback to give for the past four and a half years shopping at this Target location!”
“I love shopping at this Target store. I like the layout of everything department compared to other Target stores I've been to. This store also has a bigger grocery department than other Target stores nearby. I've bought most of my daughter's custom birthday cakes from here. Completing complicated returns was done with respect to the customer. Couple of days ago I was buying a few household items that had 2 separate deals, somehow while adding & re-adding items I had forgotten to add one of the deals back. I called the store, verified that they would still honor the deal & went to the store to get the giftvard for the deal. I was able to the gift card after the sales rep verified my receipt with no issues.”
