“This business was recommended to me by John's Auto repair when he couldn't solve my exhaust problems. I dropped the car off early in the morning, but seeing as they were swamped, they gave me an estimate almost three hours later. We agreed to a price and they went to work. I arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon and they were still having problems with the repair. I stayed until almost closing time, because they had to make sure my system was complete. Since I waited so long, they gave me a discount on the bill. You can't ask for more. Great service and honesty.”

“Stephanie at Gillespie Ford is amazing. I was at a dog adoption event and they were there giving away free windshield wipers. I asked for some but I have a newer Subaru and of course it required a special kind of attachment for the wipe blades. This is where she went above and beyond: She took down my information and ordered two brand new blades and had them delivered to my house. I didn’t have to purchase anything or bring in my vehicle. They just honored the fact that they were there giving away blades that day and I got to try out the home delivery service they offer. “My car was towed late at night to the Gurnee location for a tire the was blown out and off the rim. The next morning when I called at 7am, they not only had my tire already assessed but had it scheduled in to their day. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process of replacing the tire along with estimates and a thorough inspection was done on all tires for me. Everyone was very professional and empathetic to my stressful ordeal and work was done efficiently and without delay. Big shout out to the staff and to Reuben who were right on top of my repair. “Each time I bring my 2009 Tiguan here, I’m overwhelmed by the service I receive. The first time I pulled up because the gas cover wouldn’t open and a tech showed me a “hack” fix it. No charge.So when a mysterious system message kept popping up, I brought it it again. They were so nice, drove me home and picked me up when the car was ready. I received texts and a chance to approve or defer fixing the issues they found through diagnostics. I was even able to sign-off and pay online ti say time at the shop.This last time, my key wouldn’t turn in the ignition. Yikes. A tech was right there to listen to my description of the problem and they took the car back right away. Again, I received texts every step of the way, they drove me home and picked me up, and the tech explained everything to me in a way that wasn’t full if mansplaining or condescension.No more taking chances with outsiders. I’ll bring my car here for all my service work done from now on.”
