“While traveling from MN to IL, we hit something in the road and ruptured the gas tank in an '09 Rav4. We were towed to MacLagan Auto after hours by AAA. I was at their mercy and warned that finding a gas tank was going to be an issue and may lead to more repairs. MacLagan looked for gas tanks, including checking junk yards with no success. Nothing was available locally and we were scheduled to leave town in 2 days. Then they did research and found someone that could instead repair the tank, saving me time and considerable cost. Being from out of town and not having options they could have taken advantage of the situation. Instead they went over and above to find a solution to take care of the problem at a reasonable cost and doing it right away to keep us on schedule.”

“Al and his crew are some of the best. Had my truck towed in with hardly any notice to them and they got it in right away and diagnosed and fixed the right way. They don't throw parts and hope that something fixes the issue. They diagnose and fix, no games. Always priced better then the competition.”

“Gillespie Ford service has been a consistently solid group to work with. I have used them for over 4 years and find them to be honest and capable. The service team is consistent and really try to make the service experience the best it can be (shout out to Caitlin!). I have had occasions (more than once unfortunately) when I didn’t have an appointment but they were able to accommodate my request/repair. They were competitive on my tire replacements just recently. Overall, when dealerships (and often mechanics in general) get a bad reputation, Gillespie Ford is the exception.”

“I had an excellent experience at Gurnee Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram thanks to Jason. He was outstanding from start to finish — clear, patient, and incredibly helpful. He provided a full breakdown of the issue with my Jeep, explained everything in a way that made sense, and got the repair taken care of right away. Even better, he made sure my extended warranty covered the work, which was a huge relief. Truly great service. Thank you, Jason!”

“Gerardo, the salesman, was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had gone to multiple Hyundai dealerships - all which had not been able to provide straightforward pricing and availability. Gerardo offered great insight, was honest, and straight to the point. He gave it to me straight, worked with me on what he was able to, and sent me on my way with a vehicle that I am still happy with. About a month or so later, I ended up with a flat tire - I reached out to Gerardo (after not being able to get a hold of anyone else) and he was able to have the right person call me back within minutes. I really appreciate his help even after the car transaction was done and it speaks volumes of his character. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle!”

“I came from the Mitsubishi dealership since I couldn't find anyone in the service drive. They told me that they got bought out, unfortunately they won't have anyone till further notice and that I could be helped on this side. Tony was great, he took the time to walk me to the parts department to get a new battery. Terry was also a great help. Tony also walked over to my car to get all my info and actually put me in the system. Thank you very much for the help.”
