“I go here at least once a month and I have never had a bad experience with the staff or the environment. Shoes, clothes, backpacks and socks are available here. Store is always clean, staff always polite and well dressed and the prices are amazing.. I love this store. Keep up the good work guys.”

“I love shopping here in stores and online but the one thing I hate is the employees that approach me too often. I understand they have to do their job but they overdo it especially during the holidays. Last year I went with my sister and we were both shopping minding our business but tell me why I was approached like 3-4 times by different employees. Back to back the second and third time like bro let me shop in peace. When I get constantly approached like that it makes me think that they think I’m stealing and that makes me uncomfortable. Other than that in the past I’ve found good finds and received good help when I asked for it. I’m still gonna go this year for my holiday shopping but I hope they don’t approach me too often. Also the music is too loud sometimes.”

I’ve been an ER Nurse Practitioner for 24 year, worked 5 years prior to that as an RN. I have been a Locums worker (agency) and traveled throughout the state of Illinois. Trust me when I give this store a high rating. I do this without hesitation.
My only disappointment was they do not carry a better quality shoe. Not a supportive (Dansko or similar) to be found.

“My daughter's school is participating in an End of the Year ABC Countdown and she told me at 7:30pm that the next school day was "Illinois Day." She didn't have anything Illinois related so I hopped in the car and went straight to Lids U. The store was closed so I tried Chicago Locker Room; they did not have Illinois specific apparel. I asked the young man working if he had any other suggestions on where to go but he said that Lids U would be the only place he knew of. I explained my situation just in a sharing way, never expecting him to close his store and allow me access to Lids U for shopping, but that is exactly what he did. He went out of his way, in the last 15 minutes of his work night to let me shop at Lids U so my daughter could participate in Spirit Day. I'll absolutely be back for my sportswear needs!”
“Jordan 4’s are uncomfortable. But once you wear them they feel great. You can take out the insults if needed. But overall the store was great shoes. New and old! They have a lot of air max’s and different types of Jordan’s and Air Forces. And great service. And they let you try them on.”
