“I had a fantastic experience at Top Fitness in Vernon Hills with salesperson Jonathan Hall. He answered all of my question and made some calls to the manufacturer to answer additional questions before I decided on purchasing an Inspire IC-1 Spin Bike and I absolutely love it! It is exactly what I wanted - a great price, very quiet and fits me perfectly. There was an issue with some of the hardware/bike parts when I received my bike in the box from the warehouse - and when I called to tell Jonathan, he called other Top Fitness stores and personally drove out to Downers Grove the next day (a 45 minute drive) in order to personally check out the other bikes in stock and brought one back for me to Vernon Hills fully put together. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK and that I was extremely happy with my purchase and the experience. My husband and I can't thank Jonathan enough! Great store and fantastic customer service. I won't hesitate to return when we need additional fitness equipment. Thank you!!”

“Recently went to a Northwestern football game and while there bought a jersey for my son from Let's Tailgate at their stand within the stadium.As we walked away, my son noticed that one of the numbers on the jersey was coming off as it probably hadn't applied well. The gentleman at the stand, allowed my son to wear it for the game, then we brought it back to him afterwards where he then told us that he'd take it back to the store to correct the issue and then shipped it to us. 2 days later we had it in our mailbox.Great customer service !!!!!”

“Murphy's service is like service used to be. They know their stuff. The salesman (I forgot his name) asked a couple of questions and came back with a couple of styles. One was very close to what I like, but not perfect. He went in the back of the shop and came back with a couple more to try on. The first one was the one. They don't have a large selection, which I wasn't looking for. All I wanted was a good fit and a shoe for my type of workout. As for price I went to Zappos and the shoes were the same price and I got great service. Thanks”

“REI! This place is like Costco for outdoors people! You always say you're going to go in and buy one thing and then you walk out a couple hundred dollars poorer at the end of the experience! The salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction. If you are a member you can get a deep discount using your dividend points and also the REI return section is a great place where you can find great deals as well. Overall I give REI a five out of five stars for ambience, selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices. My daughter can hop right on the ice after a sharpening from Distinctive Edge with no “adapting period”. Jess’ office is spotless and he is highly organized. “This is an amazing place to go if you're a sports fan. It has gear from jerseys to hats to shorts and more. I recently got a jersey that I wanted to exchange. The return was so easy, and I got a gift card with store credit. I can go back any time to redeem that credit. Their card selection is amazing too. It has a lot of cards and packs for cheap prices. It has baseball, hockey, football, basketball, and even Pokémon cards. The one bad thing is the sizes. They barely have any kids stuff and it is sort chaotic to find something.”

“I've always been aware of the Athleta brand (and had bought it for others) but I didn't really start purchasing for myself until this year (and then I became obsessed). Global spending on athleisure wear was over $330 billion last year and is projected to grow almost 10 percent each year. Probably half of my new clothes this year was Athleta. I love that I can wear these clothes to the studio or to work or to dinner. I like the materials and the little details like pockets on dresses, thumbholes on sweatshirts, drawstrings to cinch in the waist, and cargo pockets on pants. The fabrics are durable, machine-washable and soft. Athleta is pricey but they have incredible sales. This location is pretty well stocked and most of the staff is approachable and helpful. On one visit they were especially nice to my elderly relative. This is centrally located in the Hawthorn Mellody shopping center with plenty of parking. With your purchase you receive a silver branded Athleta tote.”
