“This is an appreciation post for the floral department at Jewel-Osco (Veterans Pkwy location!). Look at the beautiful fresh cut floral arrangement I picked up! I found her waiting in the cooler in the floral department. I was searching for an arrangement to drop off at my friend's office to brighten her day. This was a lot of flower power for $50 - fragrant stems, heavy pitcher for a vase and generous bouquet. My friend immediately commented on how wonderful the roses smelled! It totally made her day! There were a number of to-go arrangements in beautiful colors in all shapes and sizes. The man in front of me at checkout was picking up four dozen roses for his wedding anniversary - all beautiful! Friendly cashier helped me with checkout and removing the price tag. If you don't need delivery, I'd stop by here for your next arrangement - I think items a better bang for your hard-earned bucks!”

“I recently discovered they will cook seafood made to order right there in the store! I've been going often for the fresh salmon. It only takes 10 minutes to cook, and can go home and have a healthy meal without my place smelling like fish! It doesn't cost extra. The salmon turns out amazing every time. They put garlic butter on it also. Such friendly staff and I will keep going back.”

“I flew out of Bloomington yesterday and my flight was delayed, so I was already through security. I went to the small bistro overlooking the terminal, expecting cold, packaged food. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very appetizing hot menu. Both staff members were friendly and helpful. I tried the hot tuscan chicken sandwich and honestly, it was delicious! One of the women even brought it out to me in the comfy seating area across the way when it was ready. (It was before the concourse was too busy). I will definitely order again next time I fly in.”

“I go there every Sunday and buy a lot of idems . They always have a smile and very friendly. I want to say thank you to Melissa (store manager) and Hayley (cashier). I always look forward to Sunday mornings to see them because it is a special trip. They help me find anything i need and get stuff off the top shelf for me. It is the best dollar store i ever been to. I tell a lot of people to go there because the service is great. My husband live a hour away but we go there every Sunday and they are always forward to see me. They're the best. I will be there with bells on next Sunday to see my girl. “The staff is always personable, professional and courteous despite the apparent staffing shortage they manage to move from restocking to listening to the bell to respond to customers when they arrive at checkout without looking exasperated. I always go into the store and spend more than I intended to spend. There’s always a treasure there that is also a great price deal. But Ethan from the lawn and garden center and Bryce from electronics were dope as hell!!! They were determined to help us find it, Ethan even helped us lug it to the car. We love them. We demand they get a raise. Please appreciate them bc the normal Walmart people weren't as nice smh”

“Ok, I don’t just 5 stars, as nothing is perfect. But I am doing so to offset some petty individuals here.When you are complaining about corporate policy and not individual store issues.Over all the store is clean and nice and well stocked for our small town. Employees have always been friendly and welcoming.The store will not have EVERYTHING a lager store will have. So if you don’t see something request it! Giving a one star review of the store for not carrying something you want is a bit petty. The store likely does bot make the decision, and until they know what the area wants, will not cary the items. Show them there is a demand and they will likely stock it. But again may not due to other commitments. It’s about the bottom line.My only complaint, and it’s small, is that it’s hard to tell if the store is open or not from driving by, always looks dark.”
