“It took awhile for me to really see the value of Aldi. I now confess that what they do, they do very well. The prices for the food they offer are probably the best in our city. Meat, veggies, keto, random seasonal stuff can be found there. It can however, sometimes be frustrating thinking they have something and they don't. And then there is the issue of needing a quarter to get a cart. I personally find that annoying, but have overcome!”

“I flew out of Bloomington yesterday and my flight was delayed, so I was already through security. I went to the small bistro overlooking the terminal, expecting cold, packaged food. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very appetizing hot menu. Both staff members were friendly and helpful. I tried the hot tuscan chicken sandwich and honestly, it was delicious! One of the women even brought it out to me in the comfy seating area across the way when it was ready. (It was before the concourse was too busy). I will definitely order again next time I fly in.”

“This store has been around for a very long time, and is a staple to the area. I have read in some reviews that there are unsavory types shopping there, well welcome to the real world. If you go to the Super stores those same people are there they just get lost in the size of the store, common you have never been to Walmart...right. This Kroger does have a few issues because of it's size but as far as a local grocery there is no better.”

“I recently went to the Hy-Vee bakery looking for a cake for my sons birthday. As I was looking through the cake selection book I happened to look over and up behind the bakery counter and I saw the most fantastic cheeseburger cake. I spoke with Monika, and found out that it was a specialty cake that she had just added to display. I asked if it was possible to customize it as my son eats plain hamburgers and would find the humor in that and Monika was very accommodating. The cake turned out so amazing. Monika is so creative and the cake turned out so good. A big THANK YOU to Monika for being just so nice and accommodating but also a fantastic creator of beautiful tasty cakes!”

“Went looking for futon that the normal store, they said was out of stock at their place. Came here to look for the same one and it also seemed like it was out of stock. But Ethan from the lawn and garden center and Bryce from electronics were dope as hell!!! They were determined to help us find it, Ethan even helped us lug it to the car. We love them. We demand they get a raise. Please appreciate them bc the normal Walmart people weren't as nice smh”

“The staff is always personable, professional and courteous despite the apparent staffing shortage they manage to move from restocking to listening to the bell to respond to customers when they arrive at checkout without looking exasperated. I always go into the store and spend more than I intended to spend. There’s always a treasure there that is also a great price deal. I am glad they have expanded the convenience items that save us time and guess what we can get about all we can without having to go to the grocery store”

“I do enjoy Schnucks. I grew up with them in the STL area and this location has become a favorite. I like the bakery (gotta try the single serving Red Velvet cake and German Chocolate cake) and the CVS in-store. Makes for a nice 1-stop shop.”

“Just passing through. This is one of the better krogers in the Bloomington-Normal area. They keep the store clean and they keep everything pretty much stocked up. So far I've been to this krogers a total of 8 times and the service has always been good to me. Their deli section is decent you have a nice variety of choices to choose from. They have the same deals as any other krogers. The only downside is that they don't have a gas station at this location but they another krogers not even 15 minutes away from here that has one.”

They are also super friendly at the cash register and always seem to start small talk around the items I’m getting, even recommended other goods based off it!
