I have had several times now where I have had to do a job and I realized I had something that would work that I picked up at Harbor Freight, which is about the best feeling a suburban dad can have! “Nice store, but it's very inconvenient that the garden center doors aren't open. You have to go through the store and back again with very heavy items such as mulch and bricks.”
“I purchased 2 Bali solar shades in April of 2024, and had them installed on May 8th. The Home Depot subcontractor told me the clips that came with it wouldn't work for this installation, and he would order new clips, that hold the shade in place when it is windy. I waited 2 weeks, didn't receive anything. Went to the flooring department to inquire to see if clips had been ordered ,and was dealing with a wonderful employee, named Joy. She checked, and found no record of the order. She then contacted the consumer department at Bali to see if they could provide a solution. As I sat there waiting while we were on hold with the company for over 15 minutes, other shoppers came and asked her questions. She was very courteous and helpful with them. I want to say I really enjoyed my experience dealing with her. She really spent alot of time with me to find the solution to my problem. Store #1940, Algonquin Illinois.”

“I stopped by to look for a Moen kitchen faucet part after trying with no success directly through the manufacturer but they didn’t have the part on hand since it’s a older faucet and unfortunately due to the Chyna virus ordering and shipping times are drastically longer than normal but the gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what I needed and made a photocopy of the parts diagram and luckily I was able to order on Amazon and get the part the next day. They didn’t get a sale(no fault of their own) but they definitely made a client. Thanks gents!”
