“It is so nice to have a local credit union to work with in person. We have done banking, mortgages, children and teen accounts here. They offer many useful in-person services for members that have been almost impossible to find anymore as big online banks become more competitive, such as no-fee VISA gift cards, no fee coin machine, international money exchange, safe deposit box rental (as close to Gringotts as you're going to get!). AAEC also awards many programs, grants and scholarships back to the local community!”

“I am a member of this CU and this location is the most convenient for me. Whenever I visit they are warm, welcoming and pleasant to deal with. They are great for simple deposits and withdrawals. There are certain things they cannot directly help with (mostly regarding loans and such) that must be handled at the main office in Naperville. As long as you understand that limitation it's a great place to conduct business! Also be aware that they close early on Wednesdays!”

“I live in Kentucky. Because of the rates and excellent service I receive, Consumers is my primary financial institution. I have a couple of checking accounts, one with a 4.09% APR with my credit card spend. I also have a Smart Saver account that earns over 2.00%. Awesome experience over the end of last week and the weekend with their loan department. Needed to buy a car to help with gas. My commute to work is 100 miles each way.Super easy approval process. Applied online. Approved the next day. Finding the car I wanted was tough and actually took me to Chicago. Submitted everything to Heather at the end of last week she got everything squared away. I even received some emails past 8pm. That’s dedication. Flew into Chicago this morning. As promised, the check was waiting on me at the Streamwood branch. I and my Uber driver literally only stopped for 30 seconds. I cannot say enough great things about Heathers service and the overall experience this credit union provides. Extremely thankful for Consumers.”

“I opened a savings account with Alliant Credit Union because they offer great interest rates on their savings accounts and auto loans. I the account for several years but decided to close it. The banker/rep I spoke to was so kind and helpful and handled the transaction quickly and efficiently.”
