“I cannot tell you how many Love's I've been to across the US... this one takes the cake!! Incredibly friendly staff even with the GM and AGM watching over them! Willing to joke and chat WHILE working their tails off! It didn't matter who I talked to; in the shop, in the diesel side, in the auto side, in the restaurant; everyone was friendly, helpful, kind, willing to joke and play (as long as they were also doing their jobs lol)!! I don't do this often but I called their customer service line and left a glowing review as well! Just great staff and amazing people. I guess, my biggest take away is this: It's amazing what a good company can accomplish when they're fully staffed. Thanks for an excellent 16hr break guys and gals!”

“Since they recently started selling hot food items I've been going more frequently. A variety of the mid-west/chi-town foods that we've grown to accept culturally in our local neighborhoods are all here! If u jus want a burger an fries, or a wing dinner, it's all ? I highly recommend the Jim Shoo sandwich ? Thank me later ??”

“I have been searching every where for REC 90 non-ethonal gas for my nitro bass boat and called every station in the kankakee area. All the people I spoke with had no clue what i was talking about....that is until I called Murphy in kankakee and spoke to a AWESOME GUY NAMED GARY! Gary took the time to check his fuel delivery system and informed me that non-ethonal 90 octane will be available starting in June. I can't say how polite and helpful GARY was! I hope it actually comes through and we can finally get the proper gas for our boats, lawn equipment, motorcycles ect. The world needs more GARYS in it!”

“Vacuums never work, cramped parking when someone is next to you. If you can tolerate loud music and the smell of weed than you can clean out your car. Other than that the wash works good and staff are friendly and helpful.”

“My usual morning stop to get fuel and then grab some snacks late at night. Very friendly staff, my young daughter loves stopping here as the workers treat her amazing and always a big selection of discount toys and stuffed animals. Only complaint I would give the place would be the the trucking part needs to be renovated or cleaned up/painted outside and the bathrooms are a bit outdated. Wouldn't knock of any stars because of this with the store being a high traffic location. Also usually the cheapest fuel in the county, sometimes 50 cents cheaper than down the road”

“Point me in the direction of COFFEE.Love getting my coffee here because of the assortment of flavored creamers.Getting a cup of Joe, fuel for your body and gas, fuel for your vehicle, is a WIN-WIN!!! This wasn’t the case this go-round, but when it happens, it’s a plus. The staff was pleasant, attentive and expressed Covid-concern as she wore her mask and gloves. In and out is what we did. A stick and move caper in The Kee”.”

“They always have sublevel food for what they serve. Although, I can't get enough of it. They got rid of the medium size nachos/with everything on it, and the double decker taco supreme, and I want them back now...”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
