“Awesome prices and a variety of selections of foods for a relatively small store. I was greeted with nothing but smiles by the employees. The employees were extremely nice”
“We are visiting Chicago's Northern suburbs, and discovered our favorite grocery chain, TRADER JOE'S. This TJ's is stocked with the same house brands we find in Southern California. The employees are kind and knowledgeable. You know, they listen when you ask a question, then take you to that item. Checking out is quick, easy, and the bagger will move it to your car. Incidentally, TJ,s reusable bags have a long life.
And yes, the prices are good too.
There's an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables, packaged meats, cheese, unique spices, vegan and gluten free foods.
But the real joy of Trader Joe's is their selection of unique snacks, entrees, and desserts. However, there is a catch. TJ's branded products are constantly changing. If you see it and like it - buy it. It may not be there tomorrow.
Everything's ADA compatible. Plenty of free parking.”
“Some good some so-so. I like their meat selection but their apple pie is subpar. Just a really lousy apple pie. The workers are much friendlier and less creepy than the Northbrook location.”

“Woodman's is awesome. While it seems like every grocery chain is in decline and price gouging, Woodman's is not that. It is a co-op so employees are invested. They have an amazing array of everything. This store and the other stories that I've been to are huge! The pricing is fair. I have actively priced things at Mariano's and compared them to what I found it Woodman's and Mariano's is generally 20% higher.
When you shop here not only are you getting a good deal and a great selection, but you are supporting a good chain of employee invested stores.”

“We came in from out of town 14 hours away. Nikki has excellent customer service. She was so sweet and wecoming as well as helpful. I really can't speak for the others they all lacked customer service skills Noone except for her spoke or ask did we need help. She is the reason my family left we a smile and gave 5 stars. Had it not been for her. It would've been zero stars.”
“I live about 30 min away, and not in the area often. This place is a mandatory visit for me during the holiday season, when I pick up several frozen entrees - including the pasta prosciutto and vegetable lasagna. Small place, but worth the drive. Extremely friendly staff as well.”

“Everyone who works here is always asking if I need assistance or greeting me. A quick hello and have a nice day makes a world of difference. Employees are always stocking cleaning. This Aldi location was much needed in our neighborhood. I love going to this location. The staff is wonderful. I hope that they are shown appreciation and gwt recognition. They are doing awesome, and this location really cares about their customers and the condition of their store. Keeping it clean and organized.”
“Unfortunately, I figured out that cream cheese recall is going on in all Aldi, in all states. I was buying cream cheese from Aldi on a regular basis. Also someone suggested not to buy eggs from Aldi. Not good quality. Sad”

“A simple experience but a great one. I stopped into another grocery store and grabbed egg salad from the deli counter. The list of ingredients was long and one of the first ingredients in the dressing for the egg salad was "high fructose corn syrup". Why is there sugar added to egg salad? Therefore, I dropped the offending egg salad in a cooler and left that store. I knew I would be passing Sunset Foods on my way to my destination and stopped in, went to the deli and grabbed egg salad. It was simple and clean with just 4 ingredients... Eggs, Hellmann's mayonnaise, sea salt and pepper. That's what I expect in egg salad! That's why Sunset Foods is a good grocery store.”
“I love getting the fresh bakery sweet rolls (the blueberry filled or the apple ones, all are delicious) and paczki! Specifically come to this location every year for fat Thursday as the paczki are to die for. They are fluffy and melt in your mouth amazing! This year also did not disappoint, highly recommend ?”

The Vernon Hills store is always clean and usually has everything I need and they are always well stocked. Excellent seafood. Clean store. Definitely my favorite Whole Foods location.

Today, I stopped by for some bread and other eccential necessities. I left with an electric griddle for $2.00. Yes, you heard right,just $2.00. Go check it out before everything is all gone.”

“Bodega-Deli? The place is very spacious with outdoor seating. You can get fresh salad, sandwiches, wraps and soup. There's also a refrigerator for refrigerated meals to pick up. I went here to grab lunch and it was pretty busy. I got the tuna wrap and very large. Tasty and not messy to eat. I love they also have a bakery to get something sweet to eat. Definitely need to come back and try some of the other sandwiches.”
