“I really love the variety of this store there are so many different sauces I never knew existed and I'm eager to try a lot of the stuff in the Asian section. The Oriental Store near me close down so I go here for some of my Oriental snacks and food that I want and I was so amazed when I walked in how much produce and the size of the produce. The employees were helpful everyone was friendly. I like to learn a lot about what's available to me and it's just really nice to browse a store cuz they have a little bit of everything when it comes to ethnic foods. It's also been hard to find rice crackers and there is not a H Mart near me and I feel like this place is the only place around here that sells them now. I'm excited to go back and try new things every time I go!”

“Longtime family grocer located in what has become a tough part of town. Very friendly staff. They have a little of everything, with prices being competitive with the big box grocer. The butcher shop is well worth the trip. Bought some ribeye steaks… cut to my desired thickness. Calculated out to $19.70 per pound. Also picked up a “Super-Sub’ for $7.99 - was delicious and very filling. Big selection of homemade sausages… maybe next time.”

“Stop what you are doing and immediately head to this taco gem! You need to order the carne asada tacos. Get what you want for toppings and then sit back and enjoy. These are THE best carne asada tacos in Lake County. Be warned, they are street size tacos meaning... you are going to need a few because they are slightly smaller than a "normal" sized taco in the U.S. Eaters familiar with street size know that it means good things come in small tortillas. I will try to take a photo next time, I was too excited and dug in too quickly.”

“They have many registers but only seem to use only one. The line usually moves pretty fast. I used to shop at Aldi’s a lot when they were in Park City, I loved that location. The Park City location closed. This Aldi is always well stocked and clean. The cashiers are pretty friendly for the most part. I hate the location.”

“Just went there for the first time today and it literally exceeded all of the expectations I thought I had. Everyone was SO nice and smiley, everything was super clean, well decorated. It was like a traditional Mexican grocery store with modern touches and design which was cool to see--you can tell that it truly is a family business and everyone one in the family put their ideas and touch into the store. The tacos were amazing so the coffee bar in the back is next on the list to try. Hope to become a regular!”

“This review is the the BAKERY DEPARTMENT. You guys… how beautiful are these cupcakes? Seriously! I cannot get over them! My daughter just had an Encanto themed birthday party, so I ordered a bunch of these and requested neon-green + teal + purple icing swirled. I figured they would be pretty but these exceeded my expectations and my daughter loved them, too! I’ve gotten cupcakes from here for years and they never disappoint but these were above and beyond Thank you so much for making my daughter’s party extra special.”

“I’ve used this pharmacy for years. They’ve updated their systems where you can request your refills by automated phone, on their website, or talking to the staff. They’re so great at communicating the status of prescriptions, when insurance will cover, etc. the staff, especially Joann, have been there awhile long time, its nice to have familiar faces to trust your meds with.”

“I worked here for nearly a year and recently moved on but I continue to shop here. I loved my coworkers and I had the absolute Best manager ever. Everyone who works there has something to offer and is a good asset!! But too many times actually almost every day we would get terrible, entitled, disrespectful customers that would contribute to making our jobs harder. But aside from that… This store is probably the best Dollar General in Waukegan! I still get greeted when I shop and I’m able to have a good laugh and get what I need.”
