“The crew at Hansen do high quality work. They built our cabinets 3 years ago and they are just as beautiful today. Yesterday we noticed a minor issue with one of the drawer slides. Hansen came out today and made the repair quickly and efficiently. Quality work and excellent service. Highly recommend!”
“I went here on a whim and made my first big purchases for my new condo. First time moving out isn’t easy but they made it easy! I had such a positive experience with the whole staff there - even the delivery guys! The first couch I purchased didnt fit through the entrance. The delivery guys tried their best but it was too big. Thankfully he called right away and told me they had 2 smaller ones to look at. I got my new couch the next day and it’s perfect. “I've watched my fair share HGTV shows where the designer goes to some kooky place filled with trinkets and treasures of times gone by. This place is a bit like that but mixed with the early days of Etsy. "Designers" can rent an 8x8 or bigger "storefront" to showcase their unique designs. Mostly stuff reclaimed from decades gone by and redesigned with some kind of flair. There's generally a theme to the different storefronts: women's vintage clothing, funny and lovey-dovey sayings regarding dogs and cats, plastic and silk flowers, dairy and farm, sarcastic sayings, whiskey barrel designs for the men dragged into this place, etc.
My wife and I found a whimsical chip and dip bowl. It was nice and will replace one of the blander versions we have at home.
Truthfully, there were quite a bit of items that were perfect housewarming gifts and gifts for people who have specific decor tastes.
It's also a decent place to just kill some time browsing through all the stuff people have created to get your own creative juices flowing.”

“Bought the most comfortable recliners that we've ever seen. Expensive, but worth every penny hopefully. We'll see in ten years. Angel Montero at the Gurnee store was very helpful, very patient. My only complaint is the LONG LONG delivery time. We have to wait 10 weeks for the furniture to be delivered. That almost ruined it.”

Do you think you've got your line up of unmissable Chicago thrifts sorted? You are wrong... unless you've already been to Upscale Rummage already and this is your number #1 thrifting experience. No thrift store in Chicago gets even near the fabulousness of this place. It's huge but it is not filled with garbage. New and incredible stuff comes in every week! Great antique and modern furniture, light fixtures, books, records, clothes, jewelry, kitchenware, gardening, sport gears, textiles, rugs, mirrors and art... they also have a year-round Xmas shop and regular department discounts. This shop is also incredibly well curated. Items are very fairly priced too. Rene', the owner, and her army of charming helpers are a true delight. Always smiling and welcoming. We bought so much from this store. It has brought so much joy. We end up there almost every week and rarely leave empty handed. And the money goes to charity. I mean, what more do you want? This is the one and only thrift store in you need. Chicagoans, take a trip to Libertyville and learn how it's done. If you have not been to Upscale Rummage yet, you don't know what thrifting is about. Go. NOW!”

The only reason I can't give a five-star is the lack of signage for the ailes. It is difficult to find what you need in here because of it.”

“This place has a good selection, but it is really overwhelming and unorganized. We went on a Saturday but there were no carts anywhere to be found.
Also was hard to find a person that worked there to help, and while there is a larger selection at the combined store it was really congested. It just seemed like there was a lot of unorganization and disarray. Now this could be because we went on a Saturday, but Ive been to a lot of stand alone Home Goods and it didnt feel the same.”
“Floor & Decor really has the largest selection, best prices and amazing customer service. Sarahi gave us the best price! I'm due in 2 weeks and decided now was the perfect time to redo floors. I thought shipping would be quick but it turned out to be 2-3 weeks. This location only had 27 out of the 59 boxes we needed so I was in panic mode. Sarahi went above and beyond calling other locations not only for stock but also to match the price! I am forever grateful for all of Sarahi assistance! Going to only use Floor & Decor for all my future flooring needs!”
