“I absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is so welcoming. Desiray always has a smile on her face and her high energy makes me excited to work out. Even on days when I didn’t feel like going to the gym, she makes me feel proud that I showed up. 10/10”
“Honestly it’s the best gym with the most amazing trainers, staff, and athletes I have ever met!!! Iron flag is my new family and my favorite gym of all time! I’ve been growing as a crossfit athlete and it’s been amazing! I can’t wait to see where I’ll be next year :)”
“All the trainers at Just Lift are beyond amazing! Everyone is well trained and knowledgeable. You call tell they care about each individual member’s performance and success.”

“I highly recommend Orange Theory and the central Naperville location. The staff there is so welcoming and go above and beyond to make it an inviting experience! One day I forgot to pack my shoes and a staff member had an extra pair I could borrow to help me get a workout in. That is going above and beyond for sure! The coaches are knowledgeable, dedicated and have a fun sense of humor. The staff at the front desk are friendly, patient and helpful. This is a wonderful place to workout and form a supportive community.”

“Shred415 is an excellent option for anyone seeking a challenging, scalable workout. They have a clear vision for their routines, and it shows in the consistently high quality of their classes. Not to say that their classes are all identical - each presents a unique configuration of strength work and treadmill intervals. Rather, every workout can be relied upon to challenge you meaningfully. I’m very experienced in traditional strength training, but I was in a rut with standard gym workouts. Shred415 provided a great way to get out of my comfort zone and lean into my fitness *weaknesses*. Sure I can squat 3 plates, but I’m always humbled by these workouts! I would highly recommend anyone join who’s looking to break their workout status quo. My favorite instructors are Erin and Amy. Erin leads her class with spunk and energy without being cheesy and trite. Amy finds that elusive intersection of being both calm and motivating. Shred415 has been an outstanding experience, and I encourage anyone reading to give it a shot!”
“so so so happy i joined! everyone is so welcoming. the coaches give great tips and tricks. the price matches the quality of the workout and the burn you feel, making you feel accountable and motivated. music is also a big 10/10.”
“What a great place to work out! I look forward to attending classes at this gym. And I’ve never felt that about a gym after a few months! It’s the class size, almost personalized coaching, the option to use the gym by yourself, all of which make it worth the membership here.”
“This is a family owned and operated gym, which helps to create a very unique vibe. There is a very connected, neighborhoody feel about this gym. This atmosphere, which has been cultivated by owners, staff, and area patrons, is difficult to replicate in a big-box, chain gym. Aside from the overall vibe, I like that the people at Elite are upfront with regard to their pricing. There are no guessing games. Their rates are listed on their Web site. They also offer a ten punch card so you can try out the gym before you make a commitment. Those who workout at Elite seem to be connected members of the local community. I find that the clientele is friendly, respectful, and fitness-focused. Lastly, the gym is located in a very cute area of Western Springs. There are several local businesses nearby that you can visit before or after a workout. It's also important to note that parking has never been an issue for me at Elite.”

“I switched from a local gym to ENRG Fitness about a year ago and have never looked back. The staff is knowledgeable and also encouraging in a very genuine way.
The classes are different everyday - so it's unlikely you'll ever get burned out/bored. Give ENRG a try! You won't regret it and your body will thank you!”

“How does it start? With an email or a phone call. How does it end?Don’t know. Still going here six months later.Ian and Emily are AMAZING people. That’s easy enough to say, but let me back it up.I took the leap and sent an email to them that I had never really lifted weights. I mostly did cardio exercises. Ian responded promptly and set up a phone call to discuss what goes on at their gym. The first personal training session was free so I tried it.You know that thing that you eat that you can’t put down once you try some. That’s what this was like except way more expensive. It makes you stop and think, but ultimately the question you have to ask yourself is what would you pay to be HEALTHY and HAPPY each week?Ian works with you to create a workout plan that FITS WHAT YOU WANT including workouts for days when you’re at home or your regular gym. He’s there to give you ADVICE on nutrition and eating/drinking right for your goals. It’s up to you on what you decide to do and he doesn’t care whether you take his advice or not. He’s the same regardless. Scheduling is flexible and is done personally via texts. That’s right, you have contact with Ian even when you’re not working out with him and you have normal conversations. HE'S INVESTING HIS TIME IN MAKING YOU A BETTER PERSON.From a workout perspective, there are a variety of workouts that you end up doing and they will repeat. You’re there to get progressive gains over time and the only way to do that is to repeat the workouts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. When you hit a plateau, he’ll change it up and you’ll do different workouts for a little while. At the end of each session is a random 5 minute variety of exercises that are more intense than the rest of the workout. “The Finisher” as Ian calls them. That said, I’ve never left a workout overly sore to the point where I can’t function the next day. As you do more and more workouts and they repeat, you might ask yourself “Why do I still need to come here?” “Couldn’t I do this myself now?”IT'S NOT JUST A WORKOUT. It’s life, and that’s one of the best parts is the conversations with Ian about anything and everything. Ian has been one of the most influential people in my life. This comes from discussions about future life goals, careers, philosophical questions, book recommendations, etc. The monumental change he’s made in my life from a mental perspective is something he probably doesn’t realize and something I don't know that I can ever overstate. I don’t know that everyone can expect that, but I do know that you can expect the workout you have at i.e. Fitness to be one of the highlights of your week. As I mentioned before he’s invested his time in making you a better person and he will push you to be better. He will give you that motivation to try harder when you don’t want to or think that you can’t do something. He will push you to your limits, but not push you over them.I know what you're thinking. What about Emily? While I've never worked out with her, I've been lucky enough to be at the gym when she's working out with someone or just stopping by the gym. She's a nice person who brings an energetic atmosphere to the gym with a bubbly personality albeit terrible taste in music :). It is thanks to her I have never been more nervous to lose to a six year old kid and I'm pretty sure she's the reason Ian is so great. If you've gotten this far, my RECOMMENDATION to you is to TAKE THAT FIRST FREE SESSION and then decide for yourself what you think is the best thing for you in your life.Have an amazing day!”

“I've been a member at this location for almost 5 year now and I can not begin to say how grateful I am for this community. From the amazing staff to the challenging workouts, I look forward to coming each week and showing up for not only myself but for others. The community of people who come here are inspiring, encouraging and make me want to be better. If you have been wondering whether this type of workout is for you, IT IS! You can taylor each workout to your fitness level and feel comfortable that you will be supported by people who want to see you succeed.”

“Love the 35 min workout! I previously gave up on HIIT workouts due to injuries but Nick and Chris do a great job of showing proper form and coaching, also very motivating. I highly recommend this gym!”
“I was introduced by my cycling compound and eager to visit. Currently, I am doing virtual training and interactions. Eric is very attentive and knowledgeable on topics and very client friendly. He keeps clients / participants engaged with his tough love / comical antics. I ve worked out online with both Eric & TPThis training is definitely not for the weak but very much for the committed. As a medical professional and health enthusiast for many years, I am very cautious about whom I give my attention or even take guidance. I honestly often critique one's knowledge before engaging. So far, Eric has been spot on. Drop in for a session or follow / join virtually. The team definitely does not disappoint. Very motivational group.”

“Great gym! Clean, new equipment, well laid out. Free weights, strength resistance machines, cardio equipment, and stretching area. Very friendly inviting staff. Highly recommend. May not have all the extra bells and whistles but has the most important things to keep yourself in great healthy shape.”
“Whether you're just beginning your fitness journey, or lean more toward the experienced side... Rob is there to help you achieve your goals and is amazing at helping you through every step of the way.
Crossfit, cardio, strength training, classes, boxing, open gym... there's a bit of something for everyone honestly.
I've only been going to Endeavor for a bit now, but it feels like the Cheers of gyms. Everyone I've either attended a class or some focused 1-on-1 time with Rob have all been great to workout with. All gym-goers cheer each other on when the going gets tough and that's something we all need sometimes.
Would recommend 100%.”
“TK is the best gym I've ever been to hands down and I couldn't recommend it more highly! Eric is awesome, very attentive to upkeeping the gym, helping members and is regularly updating and improving the place any way he can. If I move back to the chicago suburbs this is without a doubt the best gym around and I'd gladly drive out of my way to go here again. I've met many of good friendly people here and it's a great place to socialize, lift and hit the treadmills or bags”

“This location is actually really great with hardcore machines for bodybuilders. I’m really impressed by Feras knowledge, professionalism, empathy and research within the fitness arena. He explains everything in full details but he expects you to be committed.
If anyone is looking for a high class trainer you really want to get Feras. Also checkout his group structured class.
He might be expensive but really loves his job!

“I had a fantastic experience at Midtown Athletic Club, thanks to Paola! She gave my family and me a detailed tour and was incredibly patient, answering all of our questions with care. Her bilingual skills made the process smooth and comfortable for us, and she went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. If you're thinking of joining Midtown, I highly recommend asking for Paola – her professionalism and friendly demeanor made all the difference!”

“After being away from CrossFit for over 5 years, Iron Flag in Lemont has been the perfect place for me to jump back in. Owners and coaches have been great along with a welcoming community. The programming has been exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
