Conveniently located in the hole at 63rd and main. I'm sure the only reason this parking lot doesn't flood out is because of the enginuity of the Ace hardware employees!”

“Aside from the fact that they have pretty much everything you need if you're making a small run to the hardware store and they've got some really premium lumber, but beside that they have one of the best cashiers I have ever encountered. He has joke after joke and is always smiles. He will literally brighten your day. He is one of the biggest reasons why I choose to come in to this ace versus going to any other hardware store. He really deserves a raise or some type of promotion or bonus.”

“I went there before, couple years ago and had a Jeep Commander Car Key cut and added a key fob and its still working. So I had same problem, again(kids) with a different car(Honda), the key fob worked for about a week and had some issues with key. My son brought it back(appt. needed with key and car present at time of appt.), it was repaired/ replaced with no issues , Thanks Again for the Professionalism and the Warranty of work done.”

“Contacted Holland Hardware for repair of a damaged dining chair. Because the dining table is pretty old (it was purchased used over 40 years ago) replacing it with a new chair would have required custom building at a high price. Holland was able to repair the split wood, install new dowels to replace the broken ones, and reattach the broken leg to proved a sturdy, solid dining chair.they did this in a timely fashion at a very reasonable cost. we are very pleased with the service.”

“I have used the store for over six years buying many different items. Over the years the service is just gone down down and down. I don't know if it's due to cost or?. Today I needed a screen replacement for my window. Alexia was amazing handling the customer ahead of me and still smiling asking how she could help me. I was so impressed with her customer service and knowledge. I asked are you in line to be a manager and she said I wish. I asked her why not and she said I'm only 19. If management reads this you have a diamond in the rough. Thanks again for the great service. Also the grey haired lady was amazing as well so maybe we have a upwards trend starting to take place.”

Skills that took years, splinters, blood sweat and tears to acquire. This is not building a hot rod piece by piece. This is choosing stock, measuring and planning. “I have to give this Ace Hardware a thumbs up! I am so glad that they are still in my area and haven't succumbed like so many smaller business entities. I had to replace the cartridge in my single handle shower faucet and after 3 trips there (and so many offers of guidance) I have to say I successfully completed the job with an outlay of less than $100. I'm sure that this saved me a lot from calling out a plumber (in addition to the fact I wouldn't have been able to use my shower until someone came out)! The staff is always so kind and helpful there. I know I probably pay a bit more for the convenience of having them close to my home, but it is well worth it when you know you are going to get assistance with whatever household task you are endeavoring to fix on your own!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Alexander Equipment. I purchased a new Carlton stump grinder from Sam Marshall. It was the best equipment buying experience I’ve ever had and the service I’ve received has been on another level. I had an equipment issue on a SATURDAY evening and my rep answered his cell phone after hours and helped me trouble shoot and get everything up and running so I could finish a job for a customer. I would never have gotten that level of service from ANY of the dealers I’ve bought equipment from in the past. Thank you Sam and the rest of the team at Alexander! “Excellent first experience with Kipp's this week. They got my snowblower back up and running with fast turnaround time. The mechanics are detailed and thoughtful. For example, the quick-release thumbscrew on my handlebar had long been replaced with just a nut & bolt. Not ideal when you need to quickly collapse the handle for transportation.When they returned it I was surprised to notice they put on a new thumbscrew! Small thing, but I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. Thank you guys!”

“Since this store first opened they have come around full circle. Every project we have hired them to do for us has been spotless. There was a little miscommunication with the luxury flooring as far as them having it sitting when it was suppose to be delivered but that was all worked out and they got us moved up with their installers. We had GS Flooring which is their sub contractor for flooring they use. We had our bathrooms done years ago and now finally got the rest of our first floor completed and it absolutely looks fabulous!! The crew with GS Flooring was so fantastic!! Cannot honestly say enough about them! The guys worked hard and were completely done in 2 days with no messing around. We got the Lifesource Flooring which is Home Depot's exclusive brand. Looks fabulous! I'll post some after pics after everything is all cleaned up and back in place.”

“Very helpful staff. Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”

““This location has the BEST customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I had my sump pump go out late last night. I called the store, and I apologize, but I don’t have the associate's name. I shared my dilemma of needing a sump pump. He immediately checked to ensure he had one in stock. I asked if he would wait for me as I would arrive after closing. Not only did he wait for me after closing, but the team had everything ready at the register. I’m in retail as well, and it’s great to see that businesses still go above and beyond for their customers."”
