The staff at Macy’s were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Their professionalism and warmth really stood out and made my shopping experience enjoyable.
A highlight of my visit was the historical Christmas decorations exhibition on the 7th floor.
It was absolutely stunning!
The decorations showcased Macy’s long tradition of celebrating the holidays, with elegant displays that felt magical and nostalgic.
Walking through it truly made me feel the festive spirit.

Macy’s flagship store used to be part of the Marshall Field & Company legacy.
Marshall Field was famous for his motto,
“Give the lady what she wants,” and he helped set a standard for customer service that Macy’s still embodies today.
The store’s architecture and design reflect that rich history, with beautiful details that make shopping there feel special.

I spent quite some time exploring the beauty section, and the testers and samples made it easy to choose products with confidence.
The checkout process was smooth and efficient, and I appreciated the attention to detail when packaging my items.

“Was leery of such a big online presence having a retail location. Looks small from the outside but once you're inside you realize it's a grower, not a shower. Staff was top notch and aren't too pushy. Didn't see any on their phones or looking miserable. Will come back again.”

“I was very disappointed to walk into your store on January 2 and see that all the Christmas decorations were taken down!I would at least expect Christmas decorations to be up until the 12 days of Christmas pass.Even the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York stays up until January 13th.Also, you should offer your Christmas wrapping through January 7. There are over 300 million Orthodox Christians living throughout the world that celebrate Christmas on a different day and a different Easter as well.I can’t get my gifts wrapped with Christmas paper because you take it away:(”

“Although customer service wasn’t able to help me with what I needed I’m not going to be sour grapes and give them a bad review because their customer service was excellent and they did exactly what they were supposed to do. I didn’t get the results I liked, but they were still very good at what they did.The store is extremely well stocked with a huge variety of items!Each department has a good variety of items and sizes and the racks are extremely full.The store is easy to get to from the parking lot. “Nice for a large for a city store. Some of the shelves were not well-stocked. Seemed like there was product missing in some areas, especially cosmetics. Good selection of brands for men, women, and children, overalll. Shoe section was large. Staff was friendly. The only way down today was the elevator as the down escalator wasn't working. That made it challenging for us with a wheelchair as everyone was using the elevator. But people were friendly about it. Hopefully the store landlord can fix the elevator soon with summer crowds incoming.”

“The associates at this store are very friendly and helpful. Last week, I wanted to buy this kids kitchen set in the toys section, but the box was giant. I had my baby in a stroller and I couldn't carry it with the stroller. I asked the associates if they could bring the box to checkout and then down to the exit so I could put it in my car. I'm so appreciative of the staff for helping me. One associate brought it to the register so I could purchase it and another brought it down to the door so I could load it in my car. They were so patient with me. Thank you both so much from a thankful mom.”
“Five Below is one of my favorite stores to browse—it’s the perfect mix of fun, affordability, and variety. Every time I walk in, I find something new, whether it’s trendy tech accessories, home decor, fitness gear, snacks, or seasonal items. It’s honestly amazing how much you can get for just a few dollars.
What I love most is that the store feels upbeat and inviting. The layout makes it easy to explore, and everything is clearly labeled. It’s great for grabbing last-minute gifts, stocking stuffers, school supplies, or just treating yourself without breaking the bank.
The quality of the items has always surprised me—especially for the price. Their phone cases, wireless speakers, art supplies, and even beauty products are way better than you’d expect for under $5. And now that they carry some items in the $5–$10 range, the options are even better without losing the budget-friendly vibe.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and checkout is quick and easy. I also appreciate how they keep the store clean and well-organized, even when it’s busy.
Five Below is one of those places you can walk into for one thing and come out with a bag full of great finds—and you still feel like you got an awesome deal. It’s fun for all ages and honestly just a feel-good place to shop. Highly recommend stopping in if you haven’t.”

“Located in the Chicago Fashion Outlets, this Bloomingdale's Outlet had the best selection of men's higher end designer fashions all together than any other outlet stores around. The items available are from very good brands like Boss and Vince (entire racks of choices) though not the highest end (since the parent department store wouldn't either), with selection larger than what you might see at the parent department store, but of course with everything at least 30% off. We wanted to try this one since many of the brands also has their own outlet store close by in the mall. But unless there is a big sales going on in the brand outlet store (which wasn't the case during Father's Day), this store will have better prices and an almost equal selection. Recommend that if you like a particular brand, check out the selection here before purchasing anything in the brand outlet store.”

“From the moment I walked in to return a sweater that didn't fit, I felt like I was the most important person to the women at the customer service/cashier desk. The woman was so kind and got everything done within a couple of minutes. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by her a couple of years ago. She was just as kind and efficient then as she was this time. I was greeted with a smile and left with a smile after she helped me again with my new purchases. I don't know the cashier's name, but she is short,older, with short salt and pepper hair. I wish I knew how to send kudos her way.”
