Animal Hospital of Loves Park
5036 North 2nd Street, Loves ParkWe have been taking our dogs here for the last 4 years. Have always been very happy with Dr. Amin & staff. Unfortunately our female Scottie Sadie was diagnosed with kidney failure 2 weeks ago & we made the hard decision to put her down.
Dr. Amin walked us through all her test results, treatments & subsequent euthanasia with true concern & care. Never rushed us, always took time on our phone calls & took excellent care of our Sadie when we had to leave her at the office for her treatments. His staff were equally as caring with her. When the time came to let her go, we felt she was in good hands & it made the experience more bearable for us. We can’t thank Dr. Amin & his staff enough for being there for our Sadie & for us.
Five stars is an understatement of how well they have taken care of our pets over the years.

536 East Riverside Boulevard, Loves ParkI have been taking my pets to Dr. Smith for 47 years... Before she started Companion Animal Hospital. She is kind, compassionate and caring. When our dog was hit by a snowplow and required surgery that we couldn't afford, she arranged for the Atwood Foundation to help us. She has cared for more pets of mine than I can count... Including Euthanasia. Currently, my new kitten is under her care.
I will admit, I have had issues with her office staff in the past, but her current office girl is amazing! She does take credit cards now with a 3% charge, which is very common.

The ice cream was SO good, the prices were incredibly affordable, and the service was wonderful. It’s one of those little places that may not look like much when you first pull up, but once you get there, you realize how fun and charming it actually is.
The parking situation is a little unusual because it’s around the back, and I’ll admit, pulling in for the first time had me questioning things a little 😂 But trust me, it’s worth it!
If you’re looking for a fun, affordable little ice cream spot with great service, definitely give Dairy Depot a try. We’ll absolutely be back! 🍨

349 E Riverside Blvd, Loves ParkI had a co-worker tell me about this place. If u blink you might miss it because it's tucked off in the back of a business but its definitely worth the trip. The meat was tender and seasoned well! The greens were a bit salty but not to bad once mixed with the cornbread😉. 8/10 I will be def hitting them up again to try all of thier options!!!
