He usually comes home anxious from grooming appointments, but this time he seemed calm and happy. They gave him a full bath, trim, nail clipping, and even brushed out his thick undercoat thoroughly. The staff clearly knows how to handle dogs gently and patiently. Compared to another grooming place we tried before, the difference was obvious. His coat looked healthier and softer, and he smelled great for days. It’s reassuring knowing we’ve found a groomer we can trust.

But I've found no judgement here. Nothing but talented, loving, informative, caring vets and friendly competent staff. My dogs love coming here, too! I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

3444 N Main St, RockfordI'm sorry this is so late. Should have done this years ago. I got referred to Animal Clinic of Rockford when my original vet's office got hit by a tornado. I was quite timid at first because my family and I had been going to that vet for over 40 years. I don't trust easy when it came to my Dog.
To say my expectations have been met would be an understatement. Dr. Patel and his team are professionals packed with knowledge, care, and compassion.
For the short time (compared to my last vet) of 4 years I had the privilege of taking my Husky to be cared for by Dr. Patel and his team, I absolutely would not take him anywhere else.
His yearly check up was always filled with going through Oscar's chart and making sure we revisit the concerns from previous visits as well as new concerns if there was any. With all the normal stuff, there was also the in depth stuff. He handled my dog's surgery to remove a lump that was bothering him. Which turned out to be cancer after sending it for testing. The team was very compassionate to my nerve racking approach. I will never forget picking my fur-ball up when he was ready. The moment I walked in, I could hear him howling and talking and knew my boy was alright.
Dr. Patel and his team also handled my Dog's euthanasia. He put my baby boy to rest and peace with the utmost respect, care, and compassion. He was very educating every single step of the process.
I wouldn't put my trust in anyone else.
A message to the team. Oscar loved you guys and gals. Every time I asked him if he wanted to go see the Dr. he went nuts! I will miss the interactions Oscar and I shared with you all. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and compassion you showed Oscar. I hope I can change my mind about not wanting another dog. If I do, you'll be the 1st we visit.

Dr. Jallen was the vet in our latest appointment. He was kind, patient and gentle with my cat. He explained things in plain language so that I understood. He eased my concerns and took time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Bellwood for your pet’s care!

7145 Spring Creek Rd, Rockford2/5/26 my family and I had to make the hardest decision to have our dog Lokie euthanized he has been part of our life for 15 years. The staff was very respectful and comforting in that time. When it was time the vet came in and explained what was going to happen and we went ahead with it my family and I we're an emotional wreck but what made this clinic a 5 star for me is the vet cried with us. Then to top it all yesterday we received a card with my boy's nose print and words can't describe how greatful I am about that. We used them when I was just out of hospital to come feed them twice a day and let them out, as I was weak and couldn’t get up much. Now we use them to walk our 2 newer dogs. We have a fenced yard, but they love to be walked and we can’t do it, so we trust these kind folks to come walk them. I’m home all day with my fur babies, but this service would also be great for someone who works all day to have them take your dog for a walk. They’ve helped us tremendously and I highly recommend their services!!

3002 Charles St, RockfordAbsolutely the best Polish in town. The hot food is perfect every time and very affordable, and the treats and meats in the coolers are things I can only get here. And if you like stuffed cabbage, I challenge you to find better anywhere around! The brothers are very polite and know what they're doing to please their customers, and stack their shelves with all sorts of delicious funds like cookies and hot mustard and pickles. Go see for yourself!

Nice old-fashioned decorations everywhere you look, and I like the gift shop with many things you can buy. Restaurant is kept clean too. However, food can be wrong or undercooked sometimes, and pay attention to your screaming children (nobody wants screaming children ruining their meal)!!
