Power Paws Pet Salon was great to work with. We were walked through the process and provided an estimated time of service. Plan to return again soon.

We have a rescue reactive pup who get scared of many things when it comes the vet. Thank you to kindness and patience of Dr. Allen and the staff he is less stressed than he used to be! Dr. Allen is a miracle worker she has been there every step to help us and guidance in give best quality of life for our sweet rescue boy! Draco is working through his fears and teaching us along the way. But we have seen so much improvement and I definitely believe that a good part of that is due to Dr.Allen & the staff at the Beloit Badger Veterinary Hospital! We highly recommend them! 1800 South Madison Road, BeloitEveryone in the office and the vets are kind, compassionate, and answer all questions. They are gentle with your pet as well. It is 40 miles one way for me to get there, but I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else! Amazing!!

The location is small but gives it more of a small family friendly environment. The service is incredible, they are always so fast and friendly. And every single thing i have tried there is delicious. My favorite is the elote dog with the friedxpickles.

The space is suuuuper cute. Such a cool gem in Beloit! Would love to come back on a busier night to see it a bit more in action!

2956 Milwaukee Rd, BeloitThe Road Dawg Family Restaurant is my dad's regular Thursday spot, and he brings me here every time I'm in town. Located right off the interstate, it has that classic highway diner feel. The main sign on the pole has definitely seen better days, and the place as a whole feels a bit run down. As you walk in, be careful of the trip hazard at the entrance--it's a bit uneven. It's a little "divey," but don't let that be a dealbreaker. It's just an observation, a reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Note to management: Some minor fixes could give it a little more curb appeal. Stepping inside, you'll see the main dining room and an old buffet area that I assume hasn't been used since COVID. It's all a bit dated, but clean and functional. They serve breakfast all day and have a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Even though it was a relatively busy Sunday morning, we were greeted and seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our initial service. Almost before I could take a sip of my no-frills, bottomless cup of $3 coffee, our giant portions of breakfast arrived. It was an omelette kind of day for us. We placed a special order for my dad (he's got his usual), I got the Denver Omelette ($14) with jalapeños, and my stepmom ordered the Meat Eaters Omelette ($15). They opted for toast, and I got the pancakes, which were a meal in themselves. While the prices have increased significantly since my first visit, the large portions are big enough to share or take half home, which is exactly what we did. We were a little ignored and never asked if everything was as expected. We did, however, get coffee refills and eventually received the bill and some to-go boxes. Another note to management: The bell that incessantly rings every time someone comes or goes needs to go! By the time we left, I was anxious and extremely tired of the bell. I feel sorry for the employees who have to listen to that all day long! Overall, this place does a good and honest business. Aside from the bell and the slight dip in attention, we enjoyed our meal.

South Riverside Drive, BeloitDanielle and Rock River Newfoundlands are the absolute best. So thorough in how they select dogs for the right families and incredibly loving of their dogs. We have now been the fortunate owners of two of the most amazing Newfies. I could not recommend RRN more highly. These dogs are worth the wait and Danielle couldn’t be better at what she does!
