“Needed some round grill grates that nobody seemed to have for Memorial Day grilling. Had already been to several stores. Finally went to local Home Depot. Found one Weber grate right away. But the slot for the other was empty. Friendly staff person saw me milling around and asked if he could help! Unsolicited. Wow! Showed him the second grill grate size. He immed went to get a huge step ladder. Grill grate was not located in the first place way up high where he initially looked. Was on the other side, again way up high. This was a lot of work. It required moving that huge ladder from elsewhere and then again on site there. (He had been unboxing in another aisle beforehand.)He cheerfully brought down the second larger grill grate, asked if I needed anything else. Thanked him for his help. Thought I might browse a bit. Clearly this Home Depot is decked out.Decided to look for lighter fluid. Price was amazing! Strangely it was about half of the local, big box, discount store. (Hmm.) Got one. Will return the much more expensive big box version. (And they had zero round grill grates in their store.)Accomplished a lot, in a hurry, very pleasant shopping experience! Amazing.And FYI, I use a rollator. It hurts and is tiring to ambulate. The thoughtful, unsolicited assistance from this young man today was heart-warming. Truly appreciated.”

“I have had my snow blower and lawn tractor serviced there for the past few years. I had my lawn tractor serviced for the spring and summer season. I noticed after the first cut that it didn't have the same power as it had at the end of last season. I called and expressed my concern and it was picked up. I received a call with a diagnosis and a resolution. I just wanted to say that we unfortunately only hear most of the time when someone is unhappy or feels taken advantage of. I won't go into detail of how they resolved the issue which may not have even been something that was a result of my maintenance on my tractor. I just want to say thank you and its great to know that there are still businesses out there that still believe in customer service and are not just about making a buck. Thanks again and everyone please visit this business and you won't be disappointed.”

“Great customer service with very knowledgeable staff. Was doing a fall landscaping project. They helped with ideas and when we depleted their stock on an item they promised they would bring more in from one of their other locations. They did that and called us when it was back in stock. We checked a number of greenhouses and the inventory at Platt Hill was significantly broader than the other places we looked and their stock was in better health.”

“Updated review from my 3/27/2020 visit: Still updating our home. Finally we've come to the living room. When it was time to paint, the color didn't look right and they said bring it back and they'd fix it. Next color, still not right! (it was too light and I just needed it a little darker) I call the paint department (thank goodness it's Meg) and she tells me to bring it up and we'll see what we can do. I walk in to see a line of people. (I'm assuming everyone is hating their home now that they have to stay in them) Meg has phoned a friend from the plumbing department to help her out. (Sabrina) They're running around, things are breaking/ malfunctioning, and the line is still growing! (this is about a half an hour before closing.) When I reached my turn, Meg took my paint, 2 gallons, and we played with the color until it was exactly what I wanted. There was maybe 10 people in line, but it felt as though I had her undivided attention. She was personable, positive, and patient. Sabrina kept it light and comical while people waited by jokingly reminding them about the 6 ft rule and Meg offered to sing karaoke to them. At the end, when I received my new color, she said if I didn't love it to bring it back again. (Update on that-it's perfect!) That dynamic duo rocked. Great attitudes and a great experience from the paint department yet again! (We love everyone we have dealt with at The Home Depot!)”
