“I came 3 hours away to look for a van here expecting to throw some repair money at it knowing my luck. They had about 4 Town and Country vans and I ended up choosing this one based on engine sound and I'm glad I did. we drove it all the way back home and not a single code in sight. I even checked the Carfax at home and it looks like it was well taken care of. The car drives very smooth and I can't even feel the transmission shift! We gotta fix the AC but that's a well known and small problem.
It's always going to be a gamble buying a used car. Don't rush the process, check the tailpipes for smoke and take your time on that test drive so codes can be sure to pop up if there are any. Bring a scanner! Have someone start the engine and listen to it. Listen to it on the side of the wheel well where pulleys are too you don't want any noise.

He went through my vehicle and provided real insights on what should get done and what will need to get done eventually, not to sell me on services but to help me prioritize what I could get done given the cost (I don’t have a money tree). Good work, fair price and honest.”
