“My dog was born with a genetic defect in her knees and in an attempt to avoid surgery (and the recovery) I reached out to Canine rehab. The program they put her on over a couple of weeks including support for at home changes…has changed her life and significantly improved her activity level…she is back to her puppy days before the arthritis kicked in. The vet has confirmed it has significantly improved her knees as well. Skye is an excellent therapist and my dog loved her (especially in the pool). We are grateful we found this facility.”

“Our dog Kody is almost 13 and has a grade 4 heart murmur. His primary vet knew he needed dental care but referred us to VDC to do the procedure because of their superior expertise in dealing with his advanced care needs. Our first appointment was a consultation with Dr. Hassan. Our experience with the whole team was exceptional! The team spent extended time with me to explain the diagnosis, the range of potential needs during the procedure, and the associated cost range in detail. We scheduled the procedure with Dr. Juriga for two weeks after the consultation, which essentially went just as I had been advised during the consultation. Dr. Juriga actually reached out to me during the procedure to discuss a particular finding and his recommendation for path forward that he wanted me to know and concur with before proceeding. I took Kody home that afternoon with a detailed explanation of what to expect, what to watch for, and what to do in case of concerns. All in all, I’m so grateful for our primary vet’s referral because I truly believe Kody has had a better outcome to his condition as a result.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Wheatland Animal Hospital! The staff is absolutely incredible, and I truly wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. My first dog was neutered at a different facility and unfortunately became very sick afterward due to cleanliness issues. Because of that experience, I was extremely nervous when it was time for my second dog to be neutered. We decided to have his procedure done at Wheatland Animal Hospital, and the difference was night and day. I received updates throughout the entire process, which gave me so much peace of mind. His surgery went perfectly, his recovery was smooth, and they even called me the next day just to check in and see how he was doing. That level of care meant so much to me. Ever since that experience, Wheatland Animal Hospital has been our go-to for everything. You can genuinely tell how much the staff cares about the animals they treat and the families who love them. “Sugar Grove Animal Hospital saved our cats life - We had taken him to another vet in the area because he wasnt feeling well and we were told that we should euthanize him because he was 'critically ill and would not make it through the weekend'. We were stunned as he was fine the day before and how could that be?? The next day we took him to get a second opinion here and they were gracious enough to get us in on a busy Saturday morning. They were SO kind and took their time looking our cat over and the vet actually worked with me to come up with a treatment plan. She did not make up promises of some amazing recovery, but she was willing to talk us through what actual options looked like. Our cat is still alive and thriving to this day because of Sugar Grove Animal Hospital and we are forever grateful!”

“Recently our dog hurt her leg and was limping very badly. Our regular Vet couldn't get her in that afternoon/evening or even the next morning. My son referred me to their Vet Clinic. Amazingly Fox Valley Veterinary Clinic was able to give us a same day 5pm appointment! The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Tab was great. The gentle but thorough exam he gave our Rosie was very reassuring. The Rimadol he prescribed really helped. Their fees were quite reasonable too. Highly recommend their services.”

The feeling is mutual for all of her staff. Our pets aren’t just another chart, she takes the time to familiarize herself with their medical needs and picks up right where you left off wether it’s a 2 week follow up or a 6 month follow up, etc. We’re eternally grateful for the compassionate care she has provided our little love bugs with. “I can't say enough good things about the wonderful vets, tech, and staff at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital. Dr. Kovalick helped me with one of my senior cats with diabetes (we actually got him into permanent remission) and then an issue with his thyroid. She gave him many more happy days. When it was time to say good-bye to my sweet boy, Dr. Jebens and the whole staff were so compassionate and caring. Dr. Jess Szopinski just performed a delicate ear surgery on another of my senior boys and was able the clear much of the tissue growth that was blocking the ear canal and affecting his hearing. It was minimally invasive and he is like a different cat. Now I can get drops in the ear to keep it free from infections and he can hear again! Your precious pets will be in amazing, caring hands at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital, and they strive to keep their fees very reasonable and affordable.”

“I have selected a 5 . This is why, I move to the area about 5 years ago & I was looking for a veterinarian to take care of my wonderful dog Dolly. I wasn't sure about this new place but I was wrong. If u are looking for a veterinarian this would be the place to send your loved pet. They are very reasonable with prices, they also keep you updated on your pets vaccination's when due. In my case my dog was getting older & sick that my wife & I decided not to put her through her shots & other medical issues needed & they didn't push the issue also. All doctors & staff are A++. Our dog Dolly lived a long life. She was a beagle 17 years old. We didn't know what to do cuz my wife and I had to make a decision cuz dolly was very strong but not getting any better so we discussed with the doctor to help us decide what to do. the doctor said it can go on for a long time & she will not get any better. So we made decision to put Dolly down. The veterinarian made Dolly very comfortable for the procedure. We decided to have her cremated. We then got Dolly back home & she was in a wonderful mental box & they did her paw prints in a box also.My wife & I suggest this is the place to be. We will go back if decided to have another pet. Thank you again countryside veterinary for what you do.”
