“The AKB team is just top-notch. In late 2020, they redesigned two bathrooms and a kitchen for me. The end results were incredible! They were fun to work with, supportive along the entire process from design, manufacturing, and installation. And when there were elements involved that they did not sell (fixtures, appliances, etc.) they helped with referrals to others in the area that they had great working relationships with.I sold the condo they helped me re-design earlier this year, and I miss it everyday! I look forward to the day we renovate our house, just to work with the AKB team again.”

“I am a little bit overdue for this review, but it's extremely important that I voice my feelings, which I hope are read, and rewarded by Sheen ??? the Northlake Store Manager. I had a flooring project, which started off on a bad note, mostly my fault, but was then corrected by Debbie from the Flooring Department, who did an OUTSTANDING job of helping me to get it back on track. She was a one of a kind professional and personable customer service rep who went ABOVE AND BEYOND, INCLUDING POST INSTALLATION FOLLOW UP. I can't say enough good things about her, and hope that she gets recognized accordingly. In addition, upon return of my excess materials, and a drawn out discussion, I have to also say that Claudia, and Manager Raquel, also went above and beyond to help me with the challenging credit to my original purchase. All these ladies are the reason that I, and hopefully thousands others, will do business with your store, because they truly make a difference, which I know is the reason that I will remain a committed customer. Please tell each and every one of them how much they made my experience special, and satisfying, and that I look forward to doing business again ! Keep up the great work ladies !!!”

“This particular Menards is the largest Menards store I've come across. It's 2 stories and there's just about everything under the sun and stars in here.
They always seem to have the 11% rebate, maybe that's just a regular promotion now.
Parking is plentiful and ample handicap spots for patrons with disabilities.
Losing 2 hours in here isn't completely out of the ordinary.”
“It is a great place to visualize several home improvement things before making a purchase. I rent equipment sometimes too for "do it yourself" projects around my home. The staff is very helpful with several very knowledgeable folks who can provide assistance when trying to figure the right items out based on our needs. I was buying retractable curtains but they were too wide and needed to be cut. The people there were very helpful and showed me how to do it with patience. I love their garden items too. I wish they were a little less expensive on those items.”

“This is the store I usually go to for garden supplies. The store is always clean and well organized, with friendly associates. I had great experience at the store today when picking up 8 bags of garden soil by myself. The store associate Umar generously helped me haul the loaded cart to my car and loaded all of them into my trunk. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the neighborhood.”

“The Home Depot on Lincoln and McCormick in Chicago has the best customer service. My mom ordered blinds from there and there was some snafus but Karla and Noelle were so great resolving the issues. My mom is very happy. We will definitely make this our first choice for home improvement stores.”

They are remarkably helpful people - spent 40 minutes with us custom matching a stain for a new table top - need it to match the rest of the set in our kitchen. No extra charge - just the cost of the stain and varnish. Have had similar great experiences with them before.”
“I worked with Angela a couple years back for a kitchen sink as well as other kitchen stuff. She did a great job offering suggestions to help piece our cabinets together. We had a problem with a leaky sink and contacted angela. She took care of it within a day and had parts via warranty by the end of the week . I'd highly recommend her if you ever need anything done!!!”

“Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a "mini-Loews" - so it does not have the floor space to keep all the items. I often find myself driving to Home Depot after walking over and finding that they don't carry a typical item due to lack of space. Still, better than nothing”
