“The AKB team is just top-notch. In late 2020, they redesigned two bathrooms and a kitchen for me. The end results were incredible! They were fun to work with, supportive along the entire process from design, manufacturing, and installation. And when there were elements involved that they did not sell (fixtures, appliances, etc.) they helped with referrals to others in the area that they had great working relationships with.I sold the condo they helped me re-design earlier this year, and I miss it everyday! I look forward to the day we renovate our house, just to work with the AKB team again.”

I had a flooring project, which started off on a bad note, mostly my fault, but was then corrected by Debbie from the Flooring Department, who did an OUTSTANDING job of helping me to get it back on track. She was a one of a kind professional and personable customer service rep who went ABOVE AND BEYOND, INCLUDING POST INSTALLATION FOLLOW UP. I can't say enough good things about her, and hope that she gets recognized accordingly. In addition, upon return of my excess materials, and a drawn out discussion, I have to also say that Claudia, and Manager Raquel, also went above and beyond to help me with the challenging credit to my original purchase. All these ladies are the reason that I, and hopefully thousands others, will do business with your store, because they truly make a difference, which I know is the reason that I will remain a committed customer. “Sam was outstanding. He took the time to walk me through everything and clearly explain how delivery could be set up, which I really appreciated.
I’m a veteran and not as young as I used to be, and I was honestly preparing to load everything myself, drive it home, and spend most of the day unloading. Sam showed me a much better option and made the whole process simple and stress-free with delivery first thing in the morning.
He was kind, patient, and professional throughout, and even managed to make the experience enjoyable with his sense of humor. It’s not often you come across someone who takes that level of care with a customer.

“This is the store I usually go to for garden supplies. The store is always clean and well organized, with friendly associates. I had great experience at the store today when picking up 8 bags of garden soil by myself. The store associate Umar generously helped me haul the loaded cart to my car and loaded all of them into my trunk. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the neighborhood.”

“We had HD install new carpet on the stairs down to our finished basement. We couldn’t be happier with every step of the process. Our salesman was very helpful in helping us make our selection. The time for our measurement and delivery/install were very reasonable and the two installers did a wonderful job - careful, clean and very friendly. We appreciated how they explained the difference between a waterfall installation and a Hollywood installation - something we had never heard of before, but opted for it and are glad we did. “The customer service at this location is the best in the city. I have been in this store multiple times this month, my last visit was 01/19/26 and two team members assisted me by walking with me and searching for what I needed. When I bought large water bottles and sidewalk salt, a team member approached me and asked if they could help place the items in my cart. Amazing and so appreciated! The team members are kind and helpful. I avoid the location at 1232 North Avenue; the worst customer service I have experienced. They need to learn from the management running the Elston location.”
