When I first began my running journey in 2008 there were only proper running stores in Downtown Chicago where I could get a proper fitting for my stride. Those days are so long gone thanks to 847RC! ??♀️Now, I can simply call upon my friends down the street at 847 to help me feel my best while I pound the pavement. While it may look unassuming from the outside, it probably has more and better options than BPS. Owner is also a super nice and extremely knowledgeable guy. Even though there is a no return policy on clearance cleats, the nice lady at the store allowed me to exchange the cleats for a size down. Very happy with my purchase. “I've always been aware of the Athleta brand (and had bought it for others) but I didn't really start purchasing for myself until this year (and then I became obsessed). Global spending on athleisure wear was over $330 billion last year and is projected to grow almost 10 percent each year. Probably half of my new clothes this year was Athleta. I love that I can wear these clothes to the studio or to work or to dinner. I like the materials and the little details like pockets on dresses, thumbholes on sweatshirts, drawstrings to cinch in the waist, and cargo pockets on pants. The fabrics are durable, machine-washable and soft. Athleta is pricey but they have incredible sales. This location is pretty well stocked and most of the staff is approachable and helpful. On one visit they were especially nice to my elderly relative. This is centrally located in the Hawthorn Mellody shopping center with plenty of parking. With your purchase you receive a silver branded Athleta tote.”
