Shortly afterwards I received a courtesy phone call from Martha Rodriguez, who was confirming my appointment. I expressed some frustrations brought upon by Assurant, and even though it wasn't her issue, Martha offered solutions that she could help with. She was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She finished my screen replacement faster then the time it took me on the phone initiating the insurance claim. When I think of, what customer service should look like, I picture her! Thank you for the help and support you showed today, somebody give this lady a raise!”
“I had a great experience at CPR Cell Phone Repair in Skokie. I spilled some water on my 14-inch MacBook Pro and started having issues with the power button. I first took it to the original retailer, and they told me that since I only had the extended warranty and not accidental coverage, my only option was to send it to Apple for repair at an estimated cost of around $1,900. That was obviously not what I wanted to hear.
I then brought my laptop to CPR and worked with Edgar, and I’m very glad I did. He quickly diagnosed the problem and found corrosion where the power button connects to the motherboard. He explained everything clearly and was honest about the repair. Edgar fixed the issue for a fraction of the cost and my MacBook works perfectly now. Professional, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. I highly recommend CPR in Skokie and especially Edgar if you want real solutions without getting ripped off.”

“Brought my 2018 MBP to the Apple Store to get the battery changed. The “genius” told me it would be better to just buy a new macbook but if I wanted to change the battery they would need to send it in & it would take 2 weeks.
Brought to gadget works, they quoted me half the price, let me use my laptop while we waited for the battery to get delivered (4 business days)… and changed the battery THE SAME DAY!
They have excellent customer service and very nice. Definitely recommend.”
