“High praise for this Pets Hotel. First, the good, these are dog people! They love the animals like they are their own even if they are only staying one day. I always get extra perks and love receiving the photos of my dog receiving private story time. Also, one play session, my dog had a seizure and I sincerely appreciated the care and attention the staff showed our dog and us. They are trustworthy and good! My one critique is that sometimes PetSmart fills the hotel to capacity and when they are heavily busy or understaffed, my dog has not received the perks I scheduled. But I’m not charged when that happens, just a little disappointed that my dog didn’t have a premium experience. But all in all, I feel confident taking my dog here and I am happy that this service is available.”
“I bring my Yorkie here to get groomed and they are all so nice. Sometimes I pick out a cute little clothing item for her from their clearance section. Convenient to book online!”
“This place is the best! They carry high-quality pet food, and have unique things. Their prices are soooo much cheaper than the chain stores and the employees (maybe owners) are so kind and helpful. We drive up from Kankakee county to load up on everything we need a few times a year, and it is definitely worth the drive!”

“My go to location for the self service dog wash. No issues when I went and they've improved the water pressure and dryer pressure which is essential for my fluffy poodle. Only thing the company as a whole needs to do is get an authentic oatmeal shampoo or change the name to something floral because it severally lacks any component of oatmeal”
“I love stopping here with my son to look at the fish just like my dad did with me =) The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. They don't always have the supplies I need for my cats but when I can purchase what I need from them I always will!”
“My fur baby only gets food and treats from here. Why? Our previous fur baby had Cushings and thanks to meds, and good advice from staff here, she lived a long, full life. They even made me a memorial picture of her. Current fur baby is entitled to the same treatment. She is a picky eater, and they have worked with us to find food she will eat most of the time.”
“After having problems with lousey customer service at the Petco in Shorewood,I called the New Lenox store about the problem that I encountered their. Not only did they have the correct item I was looking for they put the item at the register with my name on! This is why I 'm giving it five stars! Job well done!”
“This store is top notch. They have a wide selection of healthy foods for your dog and cats. I love their raw food varieties.When I have a question, the knowledgeable staff is there to answer them. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.The store is a one stop shop for all your pet needs. I can always find toys, training gear, apparel, grooming aids, supplements, and anything else I need to spoil my pets. My dog absolutely loves the fresh baked goods baked by the owner herself! “We love Bentley’s ✨ They not only have adorable products and a huge variety of healthy foods but, their staff is amazing. Everyone who works there has certifications in nutrition and they’re all soooo so kind! They are always willing to help you out and truly care for the health & well being of your furfamily. For example, we love feeding Steve’s Real Food but, it isn’t something they keep in store so they special order it for us and other customers who’ve requested it. Their staff, atmosphere, and everything about them is truly wonderful and I wish I could give 10 stars, because they deserve it ⭐️”

“Picked up contacts next door and popped in here afterwards, and what a lovely surprise! This is the cutest shop ever and smells incredible since they bake everything in store. Picked up tons of yummy goodies for my two dogs! In addition to treats, there are lots of great pet food options that range from raw to kibble. Also has a dog wash which was spacious and clean. The owner was so kind and I even got to meet his two sweet dogs. I can't wait to come back!”

“I have been shopping at Alsip Home & Nursery for a long time. They have a large variety of plants, shrubs, trees, seeds, bulbs, fertilizers, pots, and pet food or supplies. I like how they have gardening items I need and can use it the same day. Everybody is friendly and can help me find the item I need. It is a great place to shop.”
“Went in today for the first time it’s a beautiful store! We were shopping for a bird and left with two cocktails. They are so hands on with the birds they set us up pretty good with a cage, toys and food. All the birds were beautiful the cages were clean they all seemed very happy there while waiting for home!!”

“I love love love your staff! My dog was in a bad fight when he was a puppy and as a result he doesn’t get along with other dogs so it’s very stressful taking him to get his shots every year. I call when I arrive and tell them about Jax and they greet me at the door and escort me through the store along the sides where there are no other doggies. I’m so grateful for these kind hearted people. They turn a very stressful situation into a very pleasant one! Thank you!!”
“Adopted a kitten. I'm happy, she's happy. Staff was extremely helpful. You can only adopt during certain hours call ahead if interested. They work with SSHS and that site doesn't update too quickly on adoptions. Many animals are awaiting potential adoption and not available yet still in store. If an animal hasn't been payed for nor picked up they should not be put on reserve for a potential 'maybe'.”

“So I’m not going to put a 1 star for this place all because of one person. I come here literally all the time. Yes you guys need to do a better job with the fish area it used to be great with Cory and it’s lacking a lot of care…. But anyway I hope you get that figured out. So ya anyway.. The new girl who’s not actually from your location, she told me she is just “helping out” I guess? She was in the fish area helping me get some fish. She was young. Idk her name. I did not appreciate how she was talking to me acting like I can not take care of my fish tank saying I’m the reason of killing my fish and I have bad fish conditions. Just being rude. I have an amazing tank. I’ve had the same fish in my tank for years. I know what I’m doing little lady. My tank is crystal clear all the time. My fish are not stressed out. I check on it daily. So don’t tell me that I don’t know what I’m doing you don’t even know what my tank looks like it’s almost at a bio active state. Just so extremely rude of her to talk to me like that and make the comments of idk what I’m doing? And she just kept going on and on…. Even after I told her Ive had my tank for years I know what I’m doing. Maybe talk to someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and asking for help. Because I wasn’t asking for help. I was buying like 3 fish. Just her comments towards me were so uncalled for. I miss Cory he was the best there. I’d rather have anyone though than that other girl. She can’t keep her mouth shut. But I still like this store just not that girl I hope I don’t see her ever again”
“Malik was our groomer and he was FANTASTIC. So friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process, from check in, to giving a call 20 minutes before he was finished, to giving me a summary of things at the end and making recommendations for how to help my dog be less afraid of the grooming in the future. He truly went above and beyond. You could also tell he is a natural with animals-- he was so gentle and kind to my dog and I immediately felt safe leaving him in Malik's hands. This was my first time using Petco for grooming and we will absolutely be back. Thank you so much, Malik!!!”
