“My wife and I came to buy paint for our house because we started a new project together. We decided to choose Home Depot since we had bought paint here before in the past.
When we went to the paint department, Mauricio helped us. He gave us excellent service and very good recommendations. The paint was not enough, so we came back 3 days later, and once again Mauricio helped us. This time it went even better because he recommended a paint that was on sale and helped us save a lot of money.

“I had an amazing customer service experience at Whitmore Ace Hardware located at 24604 Lockport St. in Plainfield. Brittany, the manager, went above and beyond to help me fix my tiered fruit platter. I originally thought I just needed a screw to stop it from wobbling, but Brittany quickly realized there was more to the issue.
Instead of giving up, she was relentless in finding a solution. She asked if I could leave the fruit tray with her so she could take a closer look. Later that same day, I received a phone call letting me know that Brittany and co-manager Patrick had figured out the problem and fixed my wobbly tiered fruit tray.
I honestly thought customer service like this was long gone, but Brittany and Patrick reminded me of what true, first-class customer service looks like. They were patient, kind, determined, and helpful from start to finish.

Our favorite is when the Christmas trees are on display in the center of the store! It creates a beautiful winter wonderland that is sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit.”

I had an excellent experience renting a carpet cleaner from this location. The rental process for the Bissell machine was incredibly easy, and the Bissell cleaning solution worked wonders—it completely revived our carpets, turning them from a worn-out gray back to their original white!
A huge shoutout to Irene, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the machine. She took the time to explain how everything worked and clearly outlined the expectations for returning it clean, which I really appreciated.

“I live a hour away from this Ace Hardware, I couldn’t find a drip pan for a XL Big Green Egg, finally I called this store and Bob checked, at first he said he didn’t have it but after telling him the Ace website said they did he went out of his way to check further and found two of them, I drove out to Oswego from Hickory Hills and picked it up! Lucky you people have a great hardware store to help out in Oswego! PS I was smoking baby back ribs hence the emergency! They were excellent !”
