“I have visited this location several times and received good customer service. Although the store is very small it has always been organized. There is not plenty of parking so you might have to park a few spots away. However, there is handicap accessible parking for those who need it. The limited parking is probably the only thing I don't like about this location.”

Today my wife and I had to renew our passports and we needed assistance. Denishia was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable about the passport process. We did take the time to speak to her supervisor and manager to let the know how much we appreciated the services we received at the Matteson, Illinois post office. Thanks again Denishia!”
“I went to this post office and was greeted at the door by a man in a Batman costume. He was nice and gave me a half eaten sandwich. Delicious mustardy. I even found free gum on the underside of the counter! How Nice! I even found 13 cents and a Tootsie Role on the floor! Amazing!!!”
“I have a small online business so I go here about once a week (usually morning) to drop off packages, buy stamps and recently for passport renewal. Every time I go its a very nice and quick visit. I’ve been to many other usps locations and this one is by far my favorite because of the employees. The 2 employees that always help me, muslim lady and African (I think) American lady are always very nice, helpful and welcoming. Service is 10/10 ?”
“I’ve been to this post office a few times and always have good service, however today I receive EXCELLENT service. Markeisha went above and beyond to help me get my wedding invitations out. She went one by one to add additional postage that I was missing due to the contents of the envelope. She took her time and was so nice”
“I went to Homewood with a 2pm appointment Monday for a Passport, and it was a mess. Rescheduled for the next day at Hazel Crest.These 2 ladies, Andrea was one, I didn’t catch the other, but both were very pleasant, very kind, helpful, and just all around made the whole experience amazing and efficient. “I have been coming here for the last 10 years that I lived in this area and never had an unpleasant experience. I went in today after looking at the hours and then seeing these bad reviews, so I had to leave this now. I was in there alone, I stood aside because I had to fill in some information that the attendant was so nice to show me for sending certified mail. Mind you there were 30 minutes left til close. And then SIX people walk in, and she kicks in to high gear all the while maintaining her pleasantness. When she sees I was done she lets me come back up and finish my transaction. Her name was LEASES (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was so pleasant and so speedy (the lady behind me also complimented her), and a perfect employee to have had instructed me WHILE attending to six other people (which of course always happens right before close). Polite to everyone while I filled my paperwork, and remained polite to me with all my questions. Thank you!”

“I had a situation and Donta sent me off. I went to another post office and they told me to go back to Harvey. Raven was a gem and I appreciate her going to the extra effort. I had to come back and edit this review. Because I received a follow up call from the post office and they made sure that I issue was resolved. If I remember the rep. who me was named Darryl. He was professional.”
“This has to be the most no nonsense post office in the area. You bring your packages, they take your packages, you then leave! Couldnt ask for better service. In and out always even if its busy! Try that at bridgeview. A stop at bridgeview usually takes 15-30 minutes in line then an attitude on top of that from the woman that her name starts with V. Thank you worth for easy and pleasant transactions!”
“I’m very pleased with this location and highly recommend visiting. My experience today was with Kiera and Deante. Both very pleasant and professional. Very welcoming and clean location. The postal reps answered all my questions and made my transaction a smooth one. Would visit again. I was a little Leary about some of the complaints but being in there today showed me it’s a lot of mad unsatisfied people in the world. They go into these establishments with that energy and not knowing it can be reciprocated at any time. Be mindful people.
I even took time and did the survey after my visit to ensure a decent rating”
