“We've lived here for 19 years and the staff has always been great. We regularly mail packages to loved ones and they've always been helpful, courteous, and professional. Our mail couriers have always been the best too. Can't say enough great things about our Postal workers in Posen.”

“The best post office in the area to use for business mail. I drive from multiple towns over just use their services and keep a PO Box so I can ensure reliable mail service for my business. The staff here are helpful, respectful, good people.”

9249 S Cicero Ave, Oak Lawn IL 60453
“I appreciate the employees in this location beyond words. I use this post office constantly to renew my passport, and sending packages a couple of times a week. Every time I visit this location, they are curteous, kind, and helpful. I went in recently & felt so bad for the employees because it was over 95 degrees out & the ac was out. They were still so kind, when I was annoyed just dropping off packages for a few minutes. I’m not one to leave reviews but I had to give props to them for being so positive in such an annoying situation.”

“I am sorry I didn't get her name but I received the best customer service from the clerk on 11-4-25! She should teach a class on how to treat customers! Thank you for brightening my day!”

“The amazing employee who took care of me today is named Kiki (apologies if spelled wrong!) She did an amazing job! It was my first time setting up a P.O. Box and so naturally, I had a lot of questions so it took quite a while before it everything finally got set up. Kiki was very helpful and I couldn’t thank her enough for being very patient with me, considering I was asking a lot of questions haha. Anyway, thank you Kiki for being such a helpful person, I really appreciate it :)”

“Last month I came by to receive my two packages and first off, why are the opening hours so inconvenient? But the lady behind the counter was nice enough and I did end up receiving my packages so it wasn't too bad.”

“Prompt and courteous service. Small town location helps to offset long lines. If you're looking for expeditious service, this is definitely the right location!”

14722 Pulaski Rd, Midlothian IL 60445
“I actually drove past two other post offices to come here. It's fifteen minutes from my house, while the other two are less than five. I did this because those offices had extremely low ratings, even if you account for a skewed ratio (generally, unhappy customers rate businesses far more often than happy customers). I was not disappointed. All I found here was friendliness and efficiency. Darlene was an absolute gem. I honestly did not have the energy to deal with someone grumpy today, and while I don't begrudge anyone having a bad day, I just wanted to see a friendly face, especially since I had an unusual mail request. The Midlothian post office delivered, pun intended. ❤️”

16011 Kedzie Avenue, Markham IL 60428
“I want to recognize Christy, a postal clerk who went above and beyond while helping me send out some important legal paperwork. From the moment I walked in, she greeted customers with a warm smile and a positive attitude—something you don’t often see in government offices where interactions can sometimes feel rushed or unfriendly. Christy took the time to make sure all of my documents were filled out correctly and that everything was handled with care. She was patient with me and my baby , professional, and truly went the extra mile to give me peace of mind with such an important mailing. Employees like Christy deserve to be recognized for their dedication and kindness. She turned what could have been a stressful errand into a smooth, reassuring experience. Thank you, Christy!”

20650 S Cicero Ave, Matteson IL 60443
“I have a practice that when I receive exceptional service, I immediately speak to a person in management to compliment the employee. Today my wife and I had to renew our passports and we needed assistance. Denishia was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable about the passport process. We did take the time to speak to her supervisor and manager to let the know how much we appreciated the services we received at the Matteson, Illinois post office. Thanks again Denishia!”

“I went to this post office and was greeted at the door by a man in a Batman costume. He was nice and gave me a half eaten sandwich. Delicious mustardy. I even found free gum on the underside of the counter! How Nice! I even found 13 cents and a Tootsie Role on the floor! Amazing!!!”

12238 S Harlem Ave, Palos Heights IL 60463
“I have visited this location several times and received good customer service. Although the store is very small it has always been organized. There is not plenty of parking so you might have to park a few spots away. However, there is handicap accessible parking for those who need it. The limited parking is probably the only thing I don't like about this location.”

12100 S 80th Ave, Palos Park IL 60464
“I have been coming here for the last 10 years that I lived in this area and never had an unpleasant experience. I went in today after looking at the hours and then seeing these bad reviews, so I had to leave this now. I was in there alone, I stood aside because I had to fill in some information that the attendant was so nice to show me for sending certified mail. Mind you there were 30 minutes left til close. And then SIX people walk in, and she kicks in to high gear all the while maintaining her pleasantness. When she sees I was done she lets me come back up and finish my transaction. Her name was LEASES (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was so pleasant and so speedy (the lady behind me also complimented her), and a perfect employee to have had instructed me WHILE attending to six other people (which of course always happens right before close). Polite to everyone while I filled my paperwork, and remained polite to me with all my questions. Thank you!”
