Also, I've been to the drive thru at the other branches when I have my dog in the car with me and they always send a dog treat out for him with my deposit slip. Such a small gesture sets LFB from the other massive banks who have to seek out government assistance because their ridiculous fees aren't enough to keep them afloat. “My dad has a local account here and the tellers are very nice. I hate to say it, but I am very lazy and use the drive-thru window instead of walking into the bank. I especially like the holiday decorated deposit slips that they use...a little cheer for the sometimes drab winter weather. A word to the wise, don't even attempt to make a left turn headed westbound on Shermer or you're asking for an accident.”

“My wife and I had 6 financial advisors over 15 years, all of which offered only their company’s products for investment. In 2013, on a whim and with some skepticism, we attended a Steve Lewit dinner/seminar. Until that seminar, we had never heard the term “fiduciary”, much less know its meaning. My experience with BG Bank & Trust (part of Wintrust) has been wonderful and I've banked with them for at least 5yrs. I shopped around for a bank that would offer me a small business account without having to deposit $5000 to keep on hold; they were the only one who had a minimum of $250. Any questions I've had have always been met with excellent customer service. There's a reason Wintrust must have been rated #1 in Illinois for customer service by J.D. Power.”
