“If you are looking for the best place to buy a plant this is the place. Marcus is incredibly knowledgeable and cares about the success of your plant. He spent hours explaining the process of planting and caring for our tree and actually did the planting for us at the end to make sure it was done correctly. Everything turned out perfect and he is such a perfectionist that he made sure every last detail was right. He even put a video together at the end explaining what he did. “I went shopping for money trees the other day in the Edgewater area of Chicago and all of the Asian stores said they will not be selling them until May. So I waited the next day and start searching for plant stores in Niles and found these two money trees to replace the big ones so they can be repotted. The lady helping me find them in the store was very nice and she had very nice plants there. This will be my regular plant store for now. Very convenient and the prices are very good as well. “I have a friend who is a passionate gardener as myself, so when her special 'milestone' birthday came along, I wanted to send her something she could eventually plant in her yard rather than a floral bouquet. I chose a pink azalea. Though I live in the western suburbs, I wanted to find a florist in her Jefferson Park neighborhood. I chose Wall's Flower Shop on Higgins but the website was redirected to Donna's Garden Flower Shop near Pulaski & Peterson. I spoke to Avi on the phone and he was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This floral shop was extremely conscientious about delivering this fragile plant in the midst of our cold January weather. They called my friend and made sure she was home to receive it. She was extremely excited and thrilled to receive her gorgeous plant full of pretty pink buds. I will definitely recommend Wall's Flower Shop/Donna's Garden Flower Shop to all my Chicago friends!”
“This update is based on my experience buying wood trim for a project: they have a great selection, and unlike my experience at Lowe's in Lincolnwood, their website is actually accurate and tells you which aisle/bin the item is in (see my Lowe's review for that cluster of a mess). I found what I needed, and they have a sawhorse set up so you can cut trim yourself -- I was surprised that they even had a miter box, as I thought that wasn't something they offered to avoid having people doing their full project cutting in the store. I needed to miter the pieces for my project, but I didn't know the exact measurements and had never used a miter box before, so I didn't want to embarrass myself trying to figure it out at 7am on Christmas Eve in the middle of a Home Depot. So instead I just cut the trim to the approximate sizes I needed with some wiggle room to measure it exactly later, and managed to figure out how to use a miter box at home after watching a Youtube tutorial. So, yay for that. Also after my adventures in elementary woodworking (lol), I needed wood filler/putty because the miter saw I was using was like 20 years old and not the most precise. Their website said they didn't carry the kind/stain shade I was looking for, but when I got there the day after Christmas, they did indeed have it. So, that was perfect. And now I have an awesome, handbuilt coffee table. About 5 years ago I also needed a random 1x4 (or maybe 1x6?) for a single shelf to fill the gap between my fridge and my wall, and one of their staff members used the power saw setup to cut that for me. That was also an easy peasy process. For my future random wood project needs, I'll definitely come here rather than Lowe's.”

“Business as usual, there welcoming, friendly and helpful. It ok when you coming to buy small stuff but it when you buying stove and dryer the big stuff that when you have problems they mounted the stove to close to window melt the blinds I was told fire it hazardous, call try to get the worker to remove it from being so close to they said no, now we buy a dryer from here the worker put sliver or duck tape on everything I don’t him to use clips he refuse then use that duck tapes on everything few day later all that mess came a loose call the store try get somebody help I got hang up the girl on the phone didn’t know nothing I had to go store buy a clip and paid a family hood the dryer up right. I paid for insurance not work out with Home Depot.”

“I’m new to gardening so I’ve visited about 5 different plant stores this week and good earth has been my favorite. Most plant stores make you feel uncomfortable for not knowing what you’re doing but that wasn’t the case at this store at all. The employees were all so nice and they have beautiful plants. It’s difficult to find plants that are non toxic to dogs but I was able to pick up a couple and they replanted them for me. I can’t wait to come back!”
