I love that they are family owned and not part of some nationwide chain. They were also reasonably priced. The vet, Dr. Fedyniaks, who examined my dog was loving and honest about the services I needed or didn’t need.”

“Made the switch to Ravenswood Animal Hospital for my cat when I moved into the area and I cannot recommend them enough. They are simultaneously organized, punctual, and efficient while still personable, patient, and communicative. Each time I needed support and advice, they gave detailed and individualized recommendations, also emailing recs for convenience and following up with a phone call a few days later.
When I was out of town for a month, my cat became sick and they worked hand in hand with my mom to give her the care and attention she needed. I full heartedly believe Dr Mitchell and all the staff here (in addition to my mom) are the only reason I got to see my cat again upon my return. I can never thank them enough for that. Putting her down was a hard decision, but their guidance, empathy, and focus on quality of life aided in those difficult decisions.
Thank you for all that you guys do. Should I ever adopt another animal in the future, I know where I will be taking them for care. ❤”

“The best vet experience we've had since moving home to Chicago from LA in 2020. We started at the Ravenswood location and then moved over to the Logan Square location. Been bringing our 2 dogs here for a couple years now and so pleased with everything about this spot!
Previously tried another vet in Lincoln Park, but they were not compatible with our anxious german shepherd mix. Once we found BLVD, we were golden. Everyone on staff is so caring, gentle, and patient. They take the extra 5 minutes making sure your dog is comfortable and relaxed before starting the exam. This made all the difference with our anxious pup and we were finally able to have a successful vet visit, after multiple failed attempts over the years.
Can't thank them enough. They sincerely love animals and it's evident in the way they approach and treat each animal. Can't imagine ever going to another vet.”

“I adopted a puppy that was staying at a foster with her litter mates & the foster persons other pets. Before we took her home on 3/1/26 I made an appointment for 3/18 to have her looked over & discuss preventative health plan. On 3/3 the office contacted me to see if I could come in earlier on 3/4, which I did. We met with Dr Sebek and the following day she called to tell me my puppy had 2 parasites found in her fecal sample (hook worm & heart worm). That same day I went back & they gave me medicine to give her for the next 6 days & our follow up appointment was made for 3/25. Im happy to say, no more parasites found. Dr Sebek & all the vet techs were awesome & gave me some good tips & info since this is my first dog. Im so glad I did my research prior to adopting & found an excellent veterinary clinic that will give us the best care. Im so grateful they reached out with an earlier appointment.”

“We had a hard time finding a good vet for a while after we moved to Brookfield (including a different VCA in the area). Then a friend recommended us to go here. They took care of Buster so well, didn’t recommend unnecessary or poorly conceived treatments, just gave us the best options and best care possible. Today we had to put Buster down. It was amazing how accommodating, compassionate, thoughtful, and caring the staff was. They made an adjustment in their schedule to see him later in the day so we could spend time with him this morning and when we got there, the whole staff was ready and handled everything so well. I cannot thank them enough for today and for the years that the absolutely CARED for Buster.”

Dr. Gus and his team are always friendly, smiling, and happy to see me and my pets. They do not hesitate to share many years of great veterinary knowledge, when needed.
