“Our vet is closed on Wednesdays and we had an emergency with our puppy of course on a Wednesday. I called North Center in a panic to see if they would help us out. Dawn was so incredibly kind. She let me have my panic attack (and cry on the phone with her), she empathized with the situation, and then she got us right in. The entire experience, from start to finish, was excellent. I'm seriously considering switching vets to them for this reason.”
“Dr. Mitchell is very kind & professional. She heard out all of my concerns and agreed to start with the least intervention possible and fully discussed more aggressive options going forward for my elderly cat's behavior issues related to living with our toddler. Very affordable, and she discouraged an unnecessary vaccination which I was grateful for. I highly recommend her for cat care!”

“I have pet tree frogs and it has been an exhausting venture to find a veterinarian that will take them. Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital went above and beyond in providing care for my one of my sick frogs recently. Not only were the front desk and vets extremely friendly but addressed all concerns and created a comprehensive treatment plan including trainings for what to do once we got home. We have now made this our new primary vet, not just for the emergency we recently had! Highly recommend!”
“I’ve been going to BLVD Logan Square for a few years now with both my cat and my dog and I absolutely adore them! Both my pets don’t like the vet. The vets there are incredibly understanding and really take so much time and effort to make sure both you AND your pet are calm. If you told me the vets there take therapy classes, I’d believe it.I have never felt rushed or like my pet’s health was compromised. My vet, Dr. Sapato, even took time to research into the food I am feeding my cat to see how it might impact his digestive issues and what the brand’s manufacturing process is. I have never had a vet do that before- it means a lot to me!When I first started bringing my cat there, I was nervous because he was a verified A-hole. The vet reassured me that her cat too was kind of a jerk and so she knew my worries and knew how she could help him be calm at the vet. Whatever she does works because he actually leaves calmer and less stressed than when we go in! He lets her hold him too- and he only lets me do that usually.My dog has issues with men, so I appreciate the number of female staff members here too and no one seems to be judgmental about that! He needed to have a TPLO surgery and the orthopedic surgeon was a man, but he was also so understanding of my dog’s fears and so kind in how he treated my dog.Lastly, they are VERY understanding of budget constraints. They make sure you understand pricing, and give options if you’re struggling with money. They are also so kind and up front about other lower cost places you can go if their prices are ever higher. I never feel pressured to spent more than I can, and also never feel like my pets health is compromised when I have a strict budget.Basically, as long as I’m in the area, I’m coming here!”
“I love this Vet Clinic! The entire staff: techs, docs, and receptionists are professional, friendly, helpful I have been bringing Athena, my German Shepherd, here for 10 years. Doctor Paul basically cured her allergies. She feels soooooo much better. It's a family owned business which I think makes the quality and customer investment a notch above.”

“Northwest Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond for the special care of my dog, Bear. He is a purebred German Shepherd with pituitary dwarfism. I have been to many vets, and NW were the ones to properly diagnose him and continue to find ways to make sure he stays healthy despite statistics of his diagnosis. “I bring my dogs to Trip for grooming at this location and am never disappointed! One of my dogs gets a very specific cut for his breed and my other dog is a rather giant puppy who requires a little extra patience with his grooming. Trip is kind and patient with both of them and is truly an expert. I highly recommend!”
“My cat was not feeling well and they were able to squeeze him in during a day when they no appointments. They were very thorough, and kept me updated through the whole process. He ended up having to go a second day for treatment, and they were so kind the whole time. I have been here many times over the eight years I have lived here, and they have always been this way. They truly care about your pet, and even do a call the next day to check in on them. I would recommend this vet to anyone who has a pet, they truly are wonderful.”

I feel like finding providers is NEVER this easy. I am so lucky to have found this practice.”
