“Nice old school butcher shop feel. The meat all looked great, and I'm definitely going to go back for some steaks! This time I got a 10 lb rump roast that they cut for me right then and there. Easy going staff, family owned atmosphere.”

“Shopping at Woodman's has two advantages. One is the breadth of products that they sell. If you need a particular item, chances are that you will find it here. The other is the depth of products that they sell. If you need a product and you are not loyal to a specific brand, chances are that one of the brands will be on sale so you can almost always save money on what you need.”

“My wife’s Filipino, and Siam Asian Market is our go-to spot for all the good stuff we can’t find anywhere else. Fresh produce, authentic ingredients, and tons of cool new things to try — it’s always a fun little adventure every time we stop in. The staff’s friendly, the store’s clean, and you can tell they really care about what they do. Definitely one of Rockford’s hidden gems!”

“I went to purchase a flag but ended up buying a bouquet of flowers. There was a slight language barrier, but the staff was very helpful. Although they didn't have exactly what I needed, they did have a suitable alternative.”

“Aldi: Where Your Wallet Wins and Your Taste Buds Do the Happy Dance
Aldi is the grocery store equivalent of that friend who shows up to the party with snacks you never thought you’d love, but now you can’t stop raving about. It’s small, it’s quirky, and it’ll save you more money than you thought possible while still letting you walk out with a cart full of goodies.
First, the prices. Let’s just say your bank account will send you a thank-you card. You can get gourmet-quality food for what it costs to get a sad sandwich at a regular grocery store. Aldi’s secret? A mix of private labels and smart shopping, meaning you can snag that organic peanut butter without having to sell a kidney.
The store layout? Simple, straightforward, and no-nonsense. You won’t find yourself wandering through endless aisles of impulse buys (unless, of course, you get distracted by the amazing middle aisle, which is like a treasure chest of random stuff you didn’t know you needed).
Quality-wise, Aldi doesn't mess around. Sure, it’s not as fancy as Whole Foods, but you’re getting great value without having to leave your dignity at the door. Their produce is fresh, their dairy is top-notch, and let’s not even get started on their frozen section—it’s like a frozen food wonderland.
Final Verdict: Aldi is like the underdog of the grocery store world—unassuming, but secretly amazing. 4/5 stars—because it’s everything you want in a grocery store, with a side of delightful surprise.”
“The store is clean and packed with southeast Asian foods, dry foods, various kinds of rice, common fresh vegetables, spices. Easy access and ample space for parking.”
“We have been dealing with IGA for many years but ever since Claudina became the manager of the deli and Bakery the product is better, fresher and the customer service is outstanding from her. She even went to work on her day off just to make sure that the order for our church activity was done right and on time. Jeff, the GM, delivered the order to our event on time. You have an outstanding asset in Claudina!!!”
“Nice staff friendly and helpful..never know for sure what will be for sale in the isle of suprise..often times household items that are unique and fun..food is fresh and reasonable in price..I love Aldis”
“At this center, I go to the Gray's IGA. The meat here is good. There is good produce and the deli has never let me down.Broasted Chicken! This place is a gem.”
“I use to come in this store all the time when it was a clothing store. The first time I walked in there I was like OMG how different it looks. It was super clean, neat, organized and everything. It's a big store and they had everything and everything was so organized it was easy to find what I was looking for.The cashier was so nice to me..she helped me find everything I wanted cause I was kind of in a rush and the store is so huge...but yes she helped.I will always shop there when I need something because they have it All.And nice owners and workers there.”
“I'm 60 and I'm mind blown each time I enter this establishment it's been here my entire life very small changes but I have older siblings and they say the same when its not broke don't fix it”
“The Van Laar family members are some of the hardest working people I've ever met. I love stopping in their shop and picking up a fresh loaf of bread and farm produce. A local staple.”
“Outstanding supermarket. Fabulous curated selection of every imaginable food. Extraordinary produce department. Best meat and seafood departments. Worth a visit”
“Great variety of candy, toys and beverages. Never seen a collection of goods quite like this. Loved the music they played! The staff was helpful. Minor critique....floor needs a thorough cleaning.”
“I absolutely have never had a problem at this location! Love the specials! Love the cleanliness! Love the atmosphere and the staff that's working at this location! Keep up the good work”
“As always always Aldi has a great selection of a lot of different kinds of products! Their special products aisle is great but they are getting a bit pricey on some of their products. For instance eggs were $3.59 a dozen I don't understand it that is unacceptable ! I did not buy them.”
“This place is my ONE STOP SHOP. I go here exclusively because of the Owner. Great guy and he creates a friendly atmosphere that you don’t get in any other place. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and check them out! Guarantee you’ll love it like I do!!”

“The prices are why I keep coming back. Much lower than anywhere in town. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to get to a pump, but they are building another station across the road and that should help alleviate the issue. Be aware, it's either prepay, debit or Discover. They don't accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards.”
“Love this place, but this place doesn't love me as I have been noticeably watched at the self checkout line like I was gonna purchase $250 worth of items and steal $5 worth of items.”
“I realized last minute I didn't have anything to brine my turkey so had to go out try to find ingredients & stores were closing??♀️so relieved to find Schnucks still opened & the recipe for brine on box of kosher salt. Saved my Christmas dinner, yeah ?”
“Schnucks' Pizzeria is perhaps the best pizza I have had in the area. Tyler is a great guy. The prices are pretty reasonable. Please do not remove this pizzeria. In fact, you ought to encourage more dine-in customers, like pre-Plandemic.
We also really miss the restaurant that used to be here. It was very good food and good prices. Take me back to the 90's.”
“Today I seen that Schnucks had new sliding glass doors installed at the grocery pick up side. I am not sure about the other side.
They have added some new things here. I thought I would share.
We get our birthday cakes here every year and we love the bakery and CVS pharmacy. I would recommend going here for cakes.”
“The store was really filled! Had everything I needed! Was clean! I was looking for something. I asked a gentleman that's been working there since the day they opened. And he wouldn't acknowledge me. The people he was talking to was talking with there kids jumping in and out of boxes and I just needed help finding ice cream cones. I just don't think that' not good customer service. The same night. When I checked out. I didn't want or needed a bag. The cashier told me I had to pay and can't refund me.”
“This store is very good and the owners are friendly. It is a must if you are looking for an authentic Asian store and it gives Asian market vibes. I recommend everyone to try it at least once.”
“I just want to tell you; the food is great. Tonight I went to get cheese beef; peppers, dipping sauce "wow" that was good; until next time. Have a great day”
“Is a wonderful friendly place for trying to find obscure, specialty dishes and halal foods. Kebabs are awesome. Lots of great spices. A Halal deli. Colognes and perfumes frome the middle east, lots of imported goods. Store is in the process of expanding. More new exciting stuff. Prices are reasonable.”
“The first time I was in a Woodman's I was mind-blown at how massive they are ! To those outside of the midwest I wonder what your grocery store equivalent is ? I've never been in a Wegman's but I imagine it is something on that scale. Costco is large too but in a different way.Not sure what to add about this Woodman's but I am always in awwww of how much there is here ! Hope the pic tour encourages you to find and share your surprises in here too !”
“We absolutely love getting our meat here. It's always delicious, the owners are friendly and accommodating and I feel good knowing we're eating high quality meat.”
