“Great prices on selection of name brand products just a little bit crowded for the aisles trying to put to much stuff into small places has everything from clothing to home decor tools pet products the adult clothing aisles are a bit small but everything else is well placed they have some food stuff but not a great place to go for groceries”

“I get literally the cutest bras and panties here. Luxury brands for 15 bucks- get this. For 3-10 of them a package. :0 amazing deals. As for the clothes tho- kind of just auntie clothes. I also found really good mens underwear, work out gear, and skin care. Shoes are always only on the smaller side so thats sad, but they're pretty nice as well. I made good convention with the fitting room lady and cashiers- very fun to talk to.”
“Cassi is the most patient, knowledgeable, and kind hair stylist I've ever had. She listened to my concerns/wants with my hair and gave me tips and suggestions based on what I was saying. Will definitely be going to her from now on and recommend for anyone looking for a hairstylist!”
“Great if like penny's it'd be great if they had one line where you could just scan a barcode and walk out instead of going through the the long lines just one I think it would pick up their business tremendously it's hard for me to wait in line 45 people in front of me I just don't have the patience is not 1947 anymore somebody in management should get with it and get with the times I bet business would jump up two-fold just try it out through corporate management”
“I love Meijer, the only issue I have is with the staff scanning my items for me at the self checkout. They turn on the remote scanners, scan your items, and then forget to turn it off or switch the scanner when they start scanning another persons groceries. Meaning you get the other persons groceries on your bill. I wouldn’t write to complain about this if it didn’t happen literally 1/2 the time I’ve allowed someone to do this. It’s not helpful, it’s annoying. I’ve literally had to have them reverse $30 worth of extra stuff I’ve almost paid for, but happened to notice the bill wasn’t adding up. Train your employees better, until that time, absolutely refuse help at the self checkout.”

“Infrequently stocked, and slightly disappointed with customer service; employees were incredibly uninterested when asked about sizing. Can be a gamble for specific gear. But, in the rare cases you find a gem, this store is absolutely worth it!”

“Let me start with saying that I am NOT a good shopper. I'm very short and and my attire is usually very casual, rarely dressy. And I've no sense of style. So when a situation arose that required a weeklong ensemble of more business-casual type clothes I was not looking forward to the task. Dreading it, in fact. When I walked into this store, I was immediately greeted by an incredibly friendly saleswoman. I told her what I needed and shared my inability to pick out clothes. Within minutes I had all three ladies helping choose, change out sizes, give honest opinions, and they did it all in such a friendly and fun way. There was a dressing room full of women helping and laughing with me , everyone worked together to help me feel good in what I was wearing. They showed me things I would have never thought to put together and changed my entire experience in such a positive way. Can't say enough good things about these ladies and this store. They made my day”
“I went in hoping to buy a replacement cutter head for my Braun electric razor. Unfortunately, if they even care isn't, they're not out on a display shelves. So it was a wasted visit.”

“If you asked me weeks ago about family dollar I’d say no way I’ll go somewhere else but recently I ran in there for pop and was amazed at how clean&different the store looked before you’d go in there’d be boxes to the ceiling,the shelves were bare customers digging thru boxes trying to find what they needed and the clothes was a disaster now I went in there about 3 days ago and OMG!!! no boxes stacked up,shelves are stocked,the clothes are neat and the store just looks cleaner I give the new employees lots of credit bc that store was a disaster and with their hard work it’s done a 360 definitely will go back??????”

“I'm giving this store a 5 star because the young man and lady that were working there tonight were polite, professional , and courteous. To me that makes the overall shopping experience much better! I've been here during the day when the cashier is playing his music loud, more involved with his phone than the customer. This night staff is doing a great job!”
“I was just at Burlington today and it was nothing and I mean nothing good on the rack or the shelf if they need to update this stuff close everything also yeah everything was just off the rack. Everything was gone. It was less people normally busy on Saturdays, but since it’s in the 90° weather summer just started now my niece went out to Machesney Park Burlington and they said they just it was nothing there as well”

“Walmart on E. State St. Good groceries here. I was especially impressed with their black grapes- I bought 3 huge bags and not a bad grape in any of them. They have amazing fresh broccoli in a bag near the lettuce. I separated it into smaller bags and froze them to steam later for meals.”
