“RAFA did a great job today drying off the car at the end, he took his time, did not rush, and did things right. Excellent! I’m glad I got the person I got. It seems like sometimes you get a great hard worker with a good attitude, and sometimes not.”
8490 Grand Ave, River Grove IL 60171
“My neighbor referred me to Mike. He is a very knowledgeable and honest mechanic. A friendly guy and obviously cares about his customers. Very fair pricing and fast quality service. Always answers the phone.”

“One of the best places to get gas, they are always the lowest in cost. But avoid this gas station on the weekend, it gets super crowded and the wait could be longer that the savings are worth.”
8400 W North Ave, Melrose Park IL 60160
“One of the few places in the city I feel safe getting gas. Security is always around and watchful so while I'm still alert I do take the trip to get gas here because of how safe I feel.”
8343 W Belmont Ave, River Grove IL 60171
“Shout out to Patricia she helped me out when my car died out at this gas station I asked her for cables for my car and she ran over to her car to get me some to help me out I really appreciate it such a great person!”
469 Sunset Ridge Rd, Northfield IL 60093
“I cannot speak highly enough of Freds of Northfield, the service, the attention to detail and particularly the communication on what was happening with my vehicle was first class! I’ve been servicing cars for 35 years mostly at dealerships and in all honesty the service that Manny provides is better than any I’ve been. Will definitely e going there for all my Auto service in the future.”
101 W Oakton St, Des Plaines IL 60018
“Cheap place to get gas near the airport. My only complaint was there wasn't a whole lot of room to either turn around or go around everybody else once you were done pumping gas.”
1901 W 22nd St, Oak Brook IL 60523
“The Costco gas station is the only place I stop for gas. The lines can often be intimidating but honestly they move a lot faster than one would think. Even the longest lines only take no more than 10 minutes to get through. They do not accept cash, but they have the cheapest gas in town by far!”
6801 W North Ave, Oak Park IL 60302
“Last year, my car was making some noises, so I brought it to Mark and his team. They carefully checked everything and assured me it was 100% safe to drive — no repairs needed. Mark even showed me a detailed image on his computer to explain what was going on. When I asked how much I owed, he said there was no charge. His honesty and kindness instantly earned my trust and future business. This year, when my starter had a glitch, I went straight back to Mark. He quickly identified the problem and made time in his busy schedule to fix it. I’m deeply impressed not only by his skill and professionalism but, even more so, by his honesty and old-fashioned integrity. Highly recommend!”

“Costco is Great! The store is busy but we’re clean! I would recommend you get there early as the parking lot can get full quickly. They have everything you could want at this store. Be sure to check them out! Good court options are great aswell.”

“My young son and I were driving to the Shedd Aquarium from Waukesha, WI when my check oil light came on. I will admit that I am completely ignorant when it comes to just about anything with cars, so I had no idea what kind of damage I could be doing to the car to continue driving, and I was a good 2 hours from home. I happened to find Kris Touhy Auto because I searched for a BP gas station close to me along my route -- and sure enough attached to the BP was this auto shop. I was shaken, I was embarrassed, I was rushed -- and the two men in the shop (an older gentleman and a younger man) immediately stopped what they were doing and both came out to check my oil level and fill it up -- for like pennies! They even showed my son (and me) how to do it. I can't say enough good things about these men and this shop. It seems like a simple, easy thing for most, but they saved the day for me, and it had a huge impact on my day. If I lived closer, you'd be my go-to! Thanks, gentlemen.”
1900 E Hintz Rd, Wheeling IL 60090
“Really nice new gas station/car wash! The gas is not horribly priced compared to some other stations not too far away. Their car wash is really nice too. If you have never, they have a great deal for first time car wash users! It's $9.95 for the first month of unlimited car washes. You also get up to 30 cents off of gas and a free large drink! I also like that they added a Scooters in the area. It's tasty coffee if you have never had!”

“There is usually a long line for the best and lowest price on gasoline, so it's best to arrive early or late. While I am a loyal Costco member, my Sam's Club membership is paying for itself with the savings I get at the pump. I love the convenience of their Scan & Go app which I use both at the pump and to avoid long check-out lines in the store. After shopping around, I also saved a couple hundred bucks buying 4 new Goodyear tires at their Tire Center. They lured me in with a low-priced membership, a free chicken and cupcakes. It worked.”

“Joseph P. was extremely helpful loading a lounge chair into the back of my van. Bulky and heavy. But he was friendly, cheerful, willing and able. I love Costco and the folks who work there, like Joseph.”

“We had a horrible night when a tub of white paint fell off a truck into the street and hit our car. 1/2 the car was covered in paint. We frantically drove here hopping to clean the car. They were closed but when seeing our car they quickly brought us back and 5-6 young men working her got almost all of the white paint cleaned off my car before it was too late. You guys are the best!!! Thank you again”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. This includes the modernization of its recently acquired turnpike location in Stroud, Oklahoma. By 2035, over half of Love's 655 stores will be either new or updated.
Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
