“I recently moved to Lake Villa and needed a new feed store near me. Personally, I don't like chain pet stores and prefer to buy from smaller business for my animals. This one is fantastic! Friendly staff, GREAT prices, and has everything from farm animals to backyard wildlife and indoor pet supplies. Additionally, I'm big on single ingredient and responsibly sourced products for my dogs, and Grayslake Feed Sales has options in that realm too. I already recommend this business to everyone!”

“I took my EXTREMELY anxious and nervous dog to get a much needed, very overdue groom today. There were 3 girls working in the grooming salon today and they were all so incredibly sweet, patient, and gentle with my pup. They gave me a suggestion on a date and time to book to avoid as much commotion as possible. They allowed me to stay for a bit to get my dog eased in and more comfortable upon arrival, and also did an amazing job on her bath, trim, etc. My dog was so happy and excited when I came to pick her up which was a great green flag. Upon checking out, the cashier was very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl!!”
“Stopped in to check it out. Enclosures are set up nicely, there's a great variety of animals. They also have some hard to find food items for your reptile. They also have a reticulated python that was rescued, they are doing a good job in treating her. As someone who has over thirty years of experience in working with retics, it's hard to see such a fantastic animal that was neglected. It's nice to see that this shop cares enough about this animal to get it the proper treatment. Hopefully it remains a shop mascot.”
“Their stock of what i need is good. If you have coupons and or rewards, the prices are good. They will also price match if some place else offers a lower price. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I am glad to have them close by.”

“I’m very happy that I took my dog to get his nails cut here. I have tried several other places over the past year or more. One place even gave him medication to calm him, but nothing worked. He just would not let them touch his feet. I walked him in canine clippers and we were done in less than 10 minutes. It was such a relief! We will be back.”

I was in tears and feeling hopeless .The store was packed the entire team busy friendly doing their thing and carolyn was able to take the time with me and find the best solution in dog food for my Winston! Then I went to check out the young cashier also was able to tell me the best outta 3 creams for Winston's feet she used on her dobe..the best was their was at least 8 people in line watching me in tears feeling defeated ALL giving me their support and courage things will get better! .I am a manager of a family owned grocery store and this is how I want our store to be... what a team you have in Antioch and ill be forever grateful for all of them .CAROLYN thank you !”

“I wanted to leave a review to recognize the cashier who helped me during my visit today at the Gurnee PetSmart location. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but her associate ID on my receipt is A-509580.
She was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure my coupons were applied correctly so I received the proper discounts. She was kind, helpful, and never once made me feel rushed during the process.
While I was checking out, another customer behind me became extremely rude and impatient and even used a derogatory slur toward the cashier. Despite the situation, she remained calm, professional, and respectful the entire time. It honestly impressed me how well she handled such an uncomfortable moment.
I ended up speaking up because the comment was completely unnecessary, but I wanted to make sure she receives recognition for how kind and professional she was throughout the entire interaction. Employees like her make a big difference in the customer experience.
