“I recently moved to Lake Villa and needed a new feed store near me. Personally, I don't like chain pet stores and prefer to buy from smaller business for my animals. This one is fantastic! Friendly staff, GREAT prices, and has everything from farm animals to backyard wildlife and indoor pet supplies. Additionally, I'm big on single ingredient and responsibly sourced products for my dogs, and Grayslake Feed Sales has options in that realm too. I already recommend this business to everyone!”
“I love our rewards points! It feels like we always have a reward or some cash when we shop, which is always very exciting. We go here a lot. We get our three dogs groomed here and buy our dog food here - we can’t recommend it enough. When one of our dogs came down with an allergy we spent hours in and out of the store to find out what worked and there was always someone there to help us and answer our questions or suggest us a new option. “We can’t say enough great things about Taylor! We bring our very anxious dog in every month just for nail trims, and she has been absolutely amazing with her. Our dog is usually very nervous, but Taylor is so patient, gentle, and kind that she actually feels comfortable with her, which means the world to us.
Taylor always does a fantastic job trimming her nails, and she takes the time to make sure the experience is as stress-free as possible. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We always leave feeling grateful knowing our pup was treated with such compassion and care.

“I wanted to leave a review to recognize the cashier who helped me during my visit today at the Gurnee PetSmart location. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but her associate ID on my receipt is A-509580.
She was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure my coupons were applied correctly so I received the proper discounts. She was kind, helpful, and never once made me feel rushed during the process.
While I was checking out, another customer behind me became extremely rude and impatient and even used a derogatory slur toward the cashier. Despite the situation, she remained calm, professional, and respectful the entire time. It honestly impressed me how well she handled such an uncomfortable moment.
I ended up speaking up because the comment was completely unnecessary, but I wanted to make sure she receives recognition for how kind and professional she was throughout the entire interaction. Employees like her make a big difference in the customer experience.
