“We just moved to the area from Indy and this was, by far, the best experience I've ever had with a butcher. If you're going fir the first time, be aware that looks are deceiving and you are indeed in the right place. He has his butcher shop right by his house.That said, the prices are extremely reasonable and better than store prices. You also get to talk to the person actually doing the work. He doesn't do anything but cash anymore but he does have an ATM to use. I was surprised at the vacuum wrapped meat rather than the paper wrap I'm used to from big city butchers. Needless to say, my expectations for my meat vendors shot up considerably.10/10 from me and I'll be doing all my meat business here from now on.”

“I really loved coming across our local Korean grocery store which apparently has been around for 8 years, not knowing how did I not know this place was here? Anyways what a fantastic find, I love all of their products, especially the ice cream, plus the skin care lotion located at the very front. Love it there. So glad to find a local Asian grocery store near by. I am super excited to find this place.”

“Switzer is the place to go to buy anything in bulk.I go for popcorn ingredients- there's is the cheapest I've found all over town for the quantity I buy and seasonings we use all the time like chili powder.The staff are friendly and so helpful. They always ask what I'm in for and grab it off the shelf for me faster than I could find it and even load it in the car. Couldn't get better than that!While on the topic of popcorn, one of the staff recommended a seasoning for sale on the edge of the counter. I also learned that they supply much of the area's fish for local fish fries during Lent.The only reason I don't shop there more often is because I don't need most products in bulk.”

“After hearing the owners are Christian and doing a lot for the Mascoutah community, I drove over from Belleville and was glad I did! I'm used to shopping Walmart and this was worth the drive!Arrived after lunch, which was unfortunate because the prepared deli chicken made me drool.The store was clean, the produce fresh, the staff incredibly nice, and I finally found a wonderful meat section that didn't reflect post apocalyptic pricing! This place is the opposite of Walmart!I keep coming over from Belleville!”

“This dollar general was very crowded as there where boxes from the truck lining the isles. Two women working tirelessly away stocking literally an entire store full of boxes. So many idk where theyll fit all those extras Im sure are mostly toys and gift sets 4 the holidays. The 4th star goes to the 2 ladies tag teaming it, not the company who wont provide an extra set of hands to help them deal with it.”

“This is the most amazing pharmacy I have ever been to because of Katie the Pharmacist, and the entire staff that works here. My family has a lot of medically complex issues, and Katie consistently goes ABOVE and beyond for my family. She checks in on us and remembers the smallest details about our health. She has helped me find over-the-counter medication when we have had sickness in the family. My OB once even prescribed me medication that conflicted with another medication I was on, the staff caught it, and then requested my doctor prescribe a new medication that would not have pregnancy risks for me. I actually look forward to going to the pharmacy because of this team, something that was a chore in the past.”

“It honestly isn't any different than any other grocery store I've ever been to. Although the prices do seem higher than I was expecting. I don't think they pay a sales tax but there are definitely better deals to be had elsewhere in town. Maybe if you live on base it's a good deal to not have to drive out on town instead”
