“I recently brought my Lexus IS250 to North Pointe with a severe transmission shifting problem, fearing the worst. Adam diagnosed it as an electronic issue rather than the transmission, however, and fixed it by replacing the car's Electronic Control Module. “This is some of the best service I’ve ever received! The staff was extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. They guided me through the entire process step by step and made the rental process a breeze.
What I really appreciated was how well they communicated with me throughout the repair. They kept me updated on what was going on through both phone calls and text messages, so I always knew the status of my car. Even better, they finished the repair earlier than originally scheduled, which was amazing!
I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family if they ever need anything repaired. They even washed and cleaned my car before returning it to me, which was such a nice surprise.

They listened to my concerns about the symptoms of my vehicle’s transmission and exhaust and other mechanical problems and was able to diagnose and offer a fix/ resolution. Their entire staff: Nomie, Umair, Diego, Khurram & Saqib provided peace of mind and excellent auto repair. Nomie is well known within the car community and is known as an incredible mechanical engineer. I drove more than 1.5 hours in traffic and it was well worth it. “I had service visit with a different auto repair service station for my 2011 Lexus RX 350 a few weeks ago. No brake problem was mentioned. Shortly after I heard a rhythmic, rubbing noise when breaking at low speed. I thought to get this investigated by Keiji auto service, having had service there several years ago. I come to find out that Keiji turned his business over to Elpidio and Ruben. Elpidio determined the brakes were in good working order, and he reassured me the sound I was hearing did not signify a significant problem. He refused payment for looking the car over, despite his time and effort. I appreciate his honesty, for I was ready to pay whatever was required to have the brakes in working order.”

“I needed a rear spoiler installation on my car. I went to "Sam's Auto Body" in Evanston and was quoted $400 in labor for this installation (I had the part already). That price sounded absurd for what I knew the job entailed. Luckily, my suspicions were confirmed, and I got the part installed for $200 here at McCormick's Auto Body. McCormick's has a knowledgeable team doing great work for a reasonable price. Thank you!”

“Emission test failed. Went to my local mechanic who fixed a few things then kept telling me keep driving to get the car's drive cycle ready. After hundreds of miles of driving, decided to give this place a try. Noah and Jack used high tech computer to figure out why the drive cycle wasn't getting ready and helped me fixed those specific issues. Price is very reasonable. I am happy they helped me pass the emission test to renew the license plate. Wish I would've gone to them from the beginning. I could've saved so much time and headache. “I brought a vehicle (2025 Toyota Camry) I was considering purchasing to Petersen Automotive for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). I called first thing in the morning and was able to get an appointment for 2 PM that same day, which I really appreciated.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the price for the inspection was very reasonable. The entire process took about two hours, and based on the time they spent with the vehicle and what they went over afterward, they seemed very thorough in checking everything out.
When you're potentially spending thousands of dollars on a used vehicle, having someone take the time to properly inspect it gives you some much-needed peace of mind before making that decision.
